Sharper Image SI-380 Canister Steam Cleaner with 15 Accessories

Blows our old little swiffer steam mop out of the water. Big power = big steam = big clean. Pressure hose and power cord long enough for incredible reach. Very good assortment of tools. Not having to hold the button to stay on is a function I didn't realize would be so awesome. Using it in handheld mode is absolutely perfect for auto detailing, and another instance where the length of the hose is phenomenal.It's actually a pleasure to use. 10/10 would buy again.

the brushes, small round brushes do not last as long as they should. And I haven't found anyway to order more. It cleans well though.

The media could not be loaded. As I was moping, I realized that I no longer have to stop to clean the mop head. I don’t have to dump the mop head in a bucket & squeeze out the water. With this, I fill the canister with a measured amount of water, let it heat up for 10 minutes and then I can mop in one go.My father in law loves to do yard work and then track those same shoes through the house. His sandals were muddy & wet the other day & I saw this as a great opportunity to record this as a demonstration. I attached a video of the mop head slowly dissolving the dirt with steam and absorbing it into the mop head. I was surprised with how quickly it worked. I moped the floors once & did it again a second time. It was extremely shiny after mopping, but the beautiful shine went away and eventually it returned to a very clean normal looking tile.I turn off the machine, unplug it & move the entire thing to the other side of the house to continue mopping. Since it’s already hot, you don’t have to wait the whole 10 minutes again. I was able to mop all the tiled parts of our home & everywhere it steamed felt clean. The handle on the top of the box is SLICK. It’s a modern handle that comes up when you need it & lays flat when not in use.It comes with a large amount of attachments. I’m not 1000% sure what else to clean with this steamer. Maybe the kid’s toys? I’ll need to look up what else I can stream besides floors. It’s very cool to use & I can’t wait to blast another object with steam. (Steam amount is controllable as well)

A bit bulky to maneuver the box around while trying to clean, but got the job done I expected more power, last longer, etc. The extension poles keep separating, so I have to stop to fix them.

stopped working after 3 months. Called customer service and they said they couldn't find the order with the order number. Need help.

This is an Amazing Steam cleaner! I've used it on my doors to get stuff off them that chemicals wouldn't remove.I'm used this steamer to remove gum that's been on my carpet for years. I've used it to remove candle wax from my carpet, used it to remove spots on my floor. I removed grease or dirt on my door from the previous owner that I thought would never come off. I thought I was going to have to paint my door to get it looking new. I even used chemical cleaners to remove it and had no luck. This little steamer really surprised me at all it can do.The best part about this steamer is it weights nothing and it comes with a cup that you fill up and this small cup will last forever. When I 1st used it I never read the directions and filled it up to the top with the sink. Then after I read them I seen the info about the cup. Honestly I thought it wasn't going to be enough water because it's a small cup but it proved me wrong. I used it & used it and used it. Finally I got to the point that I had to empty it because it I couldn't use it all lol. Needless to say it's really efficient with water.Once you add the water and turn the power on you have to wait 10 minutes or so it can heat up.It also comes with a bag of accessories.You will be amazed at how light this is and it has a handle in the center of it that pulls up so you can carry it around.Only issue I have is some times it will spit out water instead of steam. Not sure if it's not heated enough or what the issue is but I'm sure it's something I'm doing incorrectly.

I was very excited when I saw this canister steam cleaner since I was in desperate need of one to replace an older one that I had, by a different brand. I recognized Sharper Image, so had pretty high expectations, since they are known for their quality products.It included so many attachments and I really liked the modern design of the canister. It also included a measuring cup and a funnel to make it easier to fill. It took a little under 5 min for it to heat up, then the light turned green when it was ready, and I started cleaning. Though, after less than a minute of use, the light turned red again (indicating a pause so that the steamer could make more steam) and the nozzle would stop spraying and begin to spit out a small amount of water. I waited for it to turn green again, which took another few minutes, begin to use it again, only to have it turn red and give me the same issue again after less than a minute.I went over the instruction book and tried again several more times, only to have the same results over and over. At this rate, it would take me hours to finish a small area. Unfortunately, I believe that I likely received a defective device, since part of the directions say that in order to sanitize an area I would need to pass over it for a total of 2 minutes straight -- which would be totally impossible to do with the one that I received -- and the description states that it has a 45 minute steam duration. I read the instruction book in full and am very familiar with canister steam cleaners, so I'm more than confident that it isn't user error.Sadly, in this condition, I have no use for it and cannot return it, so I have no other choice but to dispose of it.
