This is a true erotic romance (aka not erotica) with a well-written, solid story line, fully developed characters, and a satisfying HEA. The plot could easily be adapted into the more traditional H/H story line but as this author states, this is what she enjoys writing. Beware - she does like "Kink" and if you find that offensive - be forewarned. Her heroes are never confused which I find in some MFM novels because the writing falls flat and the characters are only differentiated by hair color or some other physical characteristic. I had no trouble keeping these two straight, everything about them was so different! Rest assured, however, that they were knights in the full sense. Simone did a wonderful job and I highly recommend this historical erotic romance.

Gerard owes Rowan a life debt and goes with him on his quest. While traveling to Wales the encounter Aeron. She robs Rowan of his purse and is chased down in the forest where she tries to stab him.Rowan decides that Aeron owes him a debt and that instead of being hauled off to the local sheriff she will repay her debt with her body. Their travels through the countryside give Rowan and Gerard plenty of time to debauch Aeron in all sorts of ways. She finds that despite being their slave she feels safe and protected by them. She finds that having her bottom thrashed is a huge turn on and that she craves the "despicable" acts they force her to submit too.Rowan is the mean, stern master who shows her no mercy, while Gerard is sweet and attentive. Both become determined to protect Aeron at any cost when her secret is revealed. Thoey save her from a truly sadistic man and finally all three come to realize that they cannot live life without each other.Overall I enjoyed the story despite the slow and somewhat predictable first few chapters. The sex scenes were fun to read and while a bit tame for my taste still brought along a tingle in all the right places. The ending was gratifying and left me wondering how the trio would fair in the next portion in their lives with the cloud hanging over their heads dissipated. How does it work out with two alpha males sharing a spritely sub on a day to day basis.Gianna wove a delightful story. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a foray into light BDSM themes.

I received this book from the touring host for an honest review.Basically the same plot as in book 1, which in my opinion works for the series. The men showed the same characteristics, one gloomy and tough, the other tender and passionate; but yet different in their approach towards the woman.Falling into hard times, Aeron was living on the streets stealing to make a living when she ran away from a noble man, just to find herself in his arms hours later. Since stealing was punishable by death she took the change Rowan offered to be free from the gallows. Of course with a price attached to it; to submit and do as he and his friend Gerard demanded. At first she was apprehensive; being a virgin can do that, but the manner that they convinced her soon made her realize that she loved their punishment. Hiding her own secret from them she tried to escape, which caused for some serious spanking that had her breathless and looking for... smile.Rowan, Marissa's brother from book 1, was filled with resentment and anger. He too had just learned his real identity, which caused him to go on a quest; seeking answers in Wales. When his path crossed with the young Aeron he changed his mind about several things. One thing he knew after listening to his brother-in-law he wanted to experience the same things as his sister with her two men. Ian had told him about a few things that could be done to a woman and when he saw the petite woman he knew she would be perfect for what he had in mind. He was cruel at times ignited by the anger he felt towards his parents; not willing to trust anyone, especially the little thief that tried to kill him as well. In the beginning he showed no mercy as he took her body without a second thought, bordering on rape.His best friend and knight, Gerard went along with him, knowing that the anger would cause Rowan to do things he wouldn't do normally. The adventure allowed him the time to share Aeron with his best friend. Personally I liked his character more; he was the gentle one, the man she would turn to when Rowan was brutal in handling her. Seeking his comfort at all times when she felt Rowan rejected her.Her conflicting emotions kept the book interesting as she explored the world of debauchery with these two. Soon she felt drawn to both, knowing she would stay with them for as long as they wanted.The sex was quite intense throughout the pages. Again it went on for days, I was just wondering about the cleanliness of it all - can you imagine how she had to smell without a bath after they were done with her - only sleeping for brief moments. The lust and passion flaring with just a look or touch as they explore her body unhindered.The plot itself is interesting, turning each page as you learn more about her reasons for living the life of a thief; apprehending the villain as Rowan's heart change from hate to peace through the course of the book. Filled with enough human emotions the book will entertain you till the very last page.
