I waited literally 10 months with this on my droplist waiting for the price to come down.My TV quit and I had to purchase a new one and I thought, this would be a good time to get a new TV stand as well....Lo and behold the price dropped and "only 2 in stock" of the Light Walnut I had sought after for so long. This was the perfect colour and matched everything right to my ceiling fan.I love these digital fireplaces. I loved the fact that you could program and change the colours.Since it's not been very cold, I have not used this as a fireplace much. I have only used it as a "lightshow". However, one very cold evening 2 weeks ago, after only having this put together for 2-3 weeks, we started smelling something burning and couldn't figure out where it was but we were running around frantically looking when it became painfully obvious as my wall suddenly turned black from the floor to the ceiling where the fireplace was plugged in. There was nothing else in this outlet except my speakers. The TV was on another outlet as this was towards the corner in my living room and I don't plug all heavy appliances into one outlet and I use brand name surge protectors. But this thing was no match for my surge protectors, to which have protected me when lightning struck - but not this beast!I quickly flipped the breaker obviously and we had to strip the outlet, electrical and wall.When we examined it the next morning, the plug was melted at the back of the unit where it connects to the fireplace all the way to the socket. In literally a matter of 2 hours max.Did anyone pay for this damage? NOPE. Do not be fooled by the warranty, all they did was refund me and nothing more.I am so disappointed and heartbroken, and apparently stupid because I almost bought another one...But I just couldn't bring myself to pay double what I did in the first place just because it was so beautiful. You know what they say, beauty has a price.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the fire place when it actually works ... It worked perfect for the first month or so i haven't donne anything differently to it besides use the heater more often due to it being the middle of december which is why i bought this fireplace!!! It seems like i have to completely unplug my fireplace every day to reset it now ... Its very frustration seems how i spent quiteA bit of money on it. I wouldnt recommend buying for a heater ... For looks it works amazing !!! But for heatinv purposes this is not the fireplace for you!! When the fireplace stops working it completely shuts off and will not turn on what so ever at all. I am no longer available to make a return but im highly upset and would like a refund

I love this tv stand. It was easy to put together although I did need a 2nd pair of hands to put the top on. It's very sturdy. I have my 65in Samsung on it. And I have two cats and two dogs flying around here on a constant basis, and I dont feel like it's going anywhere. One of the shelf lights broke while I was putting it together but I called the company and I had a replacement part in just a few days. It's an excellent company to deal with. I didnt have to wait on hold for hours, I just waited a few minutes and the man I spoke with was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I could complain about is that my stereo system doesnt fit. I have to have the subwoofer and receiver on the shelves(with one shelf taken out completely) and I had to put the speakers on top. But my stereo isnt a small or shelf unit so maybe something smaller would be better. All in all a great product. The lights work great but be careful when installing the shelf lights because they can break very easy. And the fireplace is beautiful. It does change colors incase anyone is confused by the reviews. You can change both the fireplace and the shelf lights and you have a few colors to choose from or there's a setting where the color changes on its own. It was a great purchase! P.S. The cats really enjoy watching the fireplace!

This tv stand is sooooooo nice! It makes me giddy that it is so great. It has lights above the shelves which you can adjust color. Cannot adjust brightness just color. Lots of color options - if you have LED lights in back of your tv you can coordinate or complement it. My bf put it together and his comment was “almost easy as ikea” to build. I heard only two muttering of curse words. Usually it’s no fewer than 10. LolIf you have cats like we do, they like to get in the shelves. Glass rests on pegs. Sooo good or bad depending on how rowdy they get. Just sit there. Like their whole lives. Just sit. LolAnyways, shelf cannot be beat for the price. It’s definitely made a lovely addition to the living room and I couldn’t wait to write a good review. It is definitely worth it. We had it delivered with prime shipping. Came UPS and we didn’t have to do anything. They brought it right to the door.Don’t miss an opportunity to buy this tv stand. We already have a fireplace insert for the bedroom but now this will help us cut overall heating because we will keep the main room warm. Don’t have to crank the thermostat on the furnace. I haven’t used the heat but a few minutes as it is mostly warm outside. Didn’t need it. Either way it’s a great light show.

This is absolutely beautiful. I'm only deducting a star because the assembly instructions should be a little more clear and precise. Part of this is my fault for not reading through the entire instruction manual prior to beginning assembly. I made the mistake of thinking it didn't matter which direction the bottom shelf (B) was facing when attaching side panels (C) and center panels (E & D) and then if course putting (A) on top. Make sure the rear of (B) with the six small screw holes started is the end facing you before locking in (9) these pieces to (B). I sort of corrected the error, however, some screw holes are now slightly off. Other than that, it is working wonderfully so far and looks really good in my place.
