STAR BRITE Mildew Stain Blocker With Nano Tech Barrier - 22 OZ (086622SS)

We had mildew on our mower seat, it looked terrible. We followed the directions on the bottle and within minutes they were gone with 1 treatment. It says on the bottle for stubborn stains it might take a couple of treatments. We will be using this on everything that gets mildew on it. Highly recommend for the worst mildew stains.

Unfortunately, this product did not work at all for me. We have a rather large number of pieces of patio furniture on our deck that has upholstered cushions and pillows. Over the years some of the cushions and pillows have begun getting mold stains on them.About a week ago I washed all the outdoor pillow and cushion covers. I treated the larger mold spots with OxyClean Spot Cleaner. And then used OxyClean powder in the sanitize (super hot water) wash cycle of my laundry machine. This got just about all (99%) of the mold stains off the cushion and pillow covers. And, no mold reformed on the cushions after this washing treatment.However, this past week I purchased 2 bottles of Star Brite stain blocker in hopes that this would keep the mold from forming on the cushions and pillows again. I sprayed the Star Brite on the pillows and cushions in the late morning on a warm sunny day. Within a few hours, the cushions were dry. I let them sit out in the sun for an additional 4 hours before putting them back in the deck box (a deck box that had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out two days earlier).The next day, to my disappointment, I noticed that all the cushions had begun getting mold stains on them yet again. This time though, what took years to form mold-wise on the cushions was now forming in roughly a day or so.Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the fact that I spent $32 dollars on two bottles of this product and it didn't work at all. In fact, in my case, it almost seems to have sped-up the growth of mold on our outdoor cushions. I would not recommend that people use this on outdoor fabrics.

I don't often write a review of a product. But this was so impressive, I thought I should let others know.We have a set of vinyl outdoor chairs that were constantly covered with mildew. When we were feeling ambitious, we'd take the time to power wash the chairs, which worked pretty good but was a lot of work. The problem was that a couple days later, the mildew was back almost as bad a before.This time we first cleaned the chairs with Star brite Mildew Stain Remover. They were cleaner than they ever got using the power washer. We then sprayed them with this Star brite Stain Blocker for Boats. When we put the chairs away 2 months later, they were still clean!

This is by far the best product I've used (and I've used several) for the reduction of mildew staining on marine vinyl. My boat seats are prone to mildew stains in our humid Florida environment, and some of the stains are difficult to remove. Star brite will remove light staining, but its strength is its effectiveness in preventing re-staining. Some stains have required harsher cleaning, such as bleach, but once I've gotten the vinyl back to white the Star brite provides superb protection against future mildew stains, for as long as a few months in our drier weather. I've also noticed that stains are not as sever and are easier to remove on treated vinyl. Good product!

I use this stuff in combination with a small heater designed to keep small boats mildew free that I bought elsewhere and I don't know if it is this product, or the heater, or the combination that work, but I used to have severe mildew problems with my boat in South Georgia, but after a year of using this product and the heater I have had no problems. The stain blocker applies easily. You just spray it on and wipe off. I use it about once a month in the summer and a couple of times during the winter.

Star Brite Mildew Stain Blocker applies very easily. It tool about 20 minutes to coat all the upholstery in my ski boat. It leaves a light silicone barrier to resist mold and mildew growth and the staining it causes on the upholstery while my boat is in storage. Great product at a great price. I highly recommend for boat owners who have experienced mold and mildew growth on their boat's vinyl upholstery when the boat is uncovered in the spring. Far easier to prevent the growth than all the work to clean it off, especially white vinyl. If you didn't treat your upholstery or have existing mold and stains use Star Brite's Mildew stain remover. It works like magic.

Works great so far! Used this on my boat carpet and vinyl that is two shades of tan. Used after the mildew remover product and have not seen any come back after a month of sitting in sun and being wet with regular use. Very happy with all star brite products I've used.

Hands down will only buy this product for deep cleaning out boat. Made out yellowish seats look brand new again! Love it! Tip: wear gloves when using it. Spray the product on the seat, let it sit but keeping the product wet for about 5 minutes, scrub lightly, rinse with water. You have a brand new seats again!
