These scissors are perfect for braid. I love that they're very small have big holes for your fingers and also have rubber grip. They are not sharp and can be stored in your pocket without worry of puncturing your pocket. The teeth are serrated and don't pose a real safety risk when closed. Small portable effective good in wet weather overall exactly what I wanted. Some pliers have a cutter built in but I would recommend just getting separate pliers and separate Cutters because they do the job 100 times better than a dual purpose tool. Under 10 bucks can't be beat

One thing that has frustrated me for years was getting a clean cut on braided fishing line . At the price my first pair was on sale for I gave these things a try and they did not disappoint . Anything above 8 pound braided line they cut quickly and cleanly , 6 pound braid was a little haggard after the cut but no biggie . I don't use that thin of line very often , as a matter of fact I just took the last of it off my ultralight spinner rod/reel . They are large enough to not get easily lost but also fit nicely into even the smallest of tackle boxes . I bought a pair for my youngest daughter , who is into fishing with me , and my granddaughter who also likes to fish with me . I also have a pair for each of my tackle boxes and a spare pair in case I lose one . At under $4 shipped these things can't be beat for cutting mono, flouro and braided fishing line . They feel pretty good in hand and stay ergonomic while using them with my sausage sized fingers but also just as well with my 16 year old daughter and 6 year old granddaughter . These should be a must have in every tackle box imo .

I know these were designed for fishermen, but for cutting thread or yarn, they are superb. For people like knitters and crocheters, they are tiny, and easy to carry with you in your knitting bag. The points are rounded, and unlikely to harm or marr anything they come in contact with. Really sharp scissors don't cut thread or yarn well because they're so sharp, they tend to make yarn just slide out of the scissor blades. The serrations on these grab individual fibers and cut them cleanly with no effort. The rubbery coating on the finger holes tends to make them resist slipping in your hands, too. They are VERY good! I bought two extras in case I lose them.

I fish with braid mostly. These have never let me down.

Cuda makes some incredible scissors. I just wished they had a clip or pouch to make them easier to access. Cuts my 30lbs braid with no issues. The grips are anti slip so makes the performance easy. Stainless steel so don't worry about rust.

Great choice for the $3 they used to cost. No problem snipping 8lb braid, 30lb braid, small tippet, or thick mono. That said I have no idea why they're so expensive now.

You can't go wrong with Cuda products. They do last a little bit longer than other braid scissors but they still don't hold a sharp edge as long as I had expected for a Titanium Bonded cutter. But it still gets 5 stars because these are reasonable price and last longer than other cutters before you have to throw them out.

The smallest scissors I have ever purchased and by far the best, surprisingly sharp and manageable, get into the smallest of gaps, something extremely useful whilst fishing, have to keep them somewhere safe as i have a habit of being carless with scissors, a pocket should suffice given their size
