Got Dark Blue Out
I wish I took a picture! My hair was dark blue, and it got everything out. I thought I was going to need two separate applications but it got it in one!Obviously this is bleach and is damaging the hair, but I didn't notice any especially notable damage. I had used Blank Canvas before and my hair did feel noticeably damaged after that.I have long hair (bra strap length) and 2 packets was just barely enough, so keep that in mind.I will note that I've had tons of bright hair colors over the years (so also lots of bleach). This may have worked so strongly on my hair because of that, since heavily bleached hair can be very porous. I also use Arctic Fox and Mondo X dyes, which are generally easier to get out. If you're on your first color and you used something like Splat or Manic Panic, you might need more than one application.I'll definitely re-buy when I inevitably get sick of my next color in a year!

works well
I used it to remove orange from my hair. It worked well and didn't make my hair feel any more damaged then it did before using it as my hair was bleached twice before. Easy to follow instructions too.

Better than expected.
I was expecting just a color lift, similar to the 3 step "one 'n only" color fix". This lightened my un-dyed roots, unlike the One n Only. They are both great tho.I use to be a natural brighter red head but as I've gotten older it has turned an ugly, dingy brown. I was super sloppy applying this. First I just added water and started with the bottom and worked my way up. Then I added a little bit of the powder I saved with some 20 developer, AND I added part of step 3 from the One and Only stuff I had left. Everyone says to skip the step 3 part. Lol anyways..... an xmas miracle happened and somehow my hair ended up completely even colored. A nice bright copper / orange, like I had 20 yrs ago.I was not expecting this outcome and I don't understand how it happened, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I think I just got lucky. I also added a bit from another brand. Overall I feel much better than I did a few hrs. Ago and I am glad I bought it. Between this powder pack and the other color lifter I mentioned, I think I will probably stick with both FOREVER.

Lifting brown box dye
I have used color oops twice, vitamin c twice, and ion color remover on stubborn semipermanent brown natural instincts dye over previously lightened hair. Color oops got the darker color out and my hair was an auburn- dark ginger color. I needed something with actual lift, so I paired the effasol with level 10 developer for a gentle lift. I left it in for 25 minutes, and it gave me the best removal of dye out of everything I tried. I could have honestly left it in for 5-10 more minutes but rinsed to avoid breakage. My hair feels a little dry nothing crazy after conditioner. I highly recommend but watch the lift like a hawk in order to make sure you don’t over process!

Not enough!
If you have thick long hair one pack is not enough. Product really works but very messy to apply I found it best to use with a developer which made it pasty and easy to apply to hair. It did take a lot of my hair out it also makes hair ruff and dry. I gave 3 stars because the pack is so small. I really like the different shades it colored my hair. But differently buy if you need to remove a color.

It works!
I chickened out and didn’t leave it as long as I should have, all things considered it worked! Definitely bleaches and if you get it on your natural color it bleaches that too. My hair is curly but brushed out for application. 100% dries out but that’s to be expected!I’ve box dyed my hair varying degrees of red and brown for like…..13 years 😅😂I used L’Oréal 20 developer, kept it in about 15-20 minutes. Avoided application to normal hair color. I only used one packet and there was some left over my the end of application.I work in a medical setting so maybe I’m bias, the smell didn’t bother me at all, have good ventilation while mixing tho.

Turned my purple hair green
I used the color remover as directed on my purple-dyed hair and wound up with turquoise hair. It was kinda cool I suppose except that it also made my roots a gross brassy color. Not sure what happened there. I toned it out with a red/copper toner, but yeah, unfortunately I had a bad experience.

WOW WOW WOW
ignore the pink, my hair was bleached and pink in the front before i covered it all in black. but the back of my hair, i’ve been dying with black box dye for about 4 years now. i was worried it wouldn’t lift the back at all. after mixing 3 packets, 20 vol developer, covering my entire head with foil and a walmart bag, i waited 50 minutes. my head was VERY HOT from the foils and bag, but lightening my hair like crazy. im so happy with my results. i thought it was going to be dark brown at best but now its a ginger/light brown color! amazing!!
