The Sharper Image 3 in 1 Garlic Press

This was purchased for my daughter. I've had one for a few years. It is the greatest little kitchen helper. It must be washed almost immediately, if not, the garlic sticks and takes a while to clean. I hand wash but I believe it's dishwasher safe. I also use a brush to clean the cutting section. Great, Great, and Great!

I have one of these already and the product itself works great. I ordered this one new but received a used one. The original package seal was broken and the item was noticeably dirty. Bits of garlic in the catch container and on the blade. I am disappointed to say the least. I will clean the item and keep it but will say that this is not what I ordered or expected. I am just glad I did not ship this to someone else as a gift.

Great garlic press

This press is perfect - minces the whole clove without much hassle. After many years of use, the cleaning screen on my previous one broke. The press still works, but the cleaning screen is really useful and of course, you can’t buy just the screen…so now I have an extra press.

Disappointed. Hard to use. Not nearly as easy as my previous garlic presses. Hard to clean. Have to make sure garlic is peeled, not very convenient at all. Definitely cheap.

Being able to slice and dice garlic is a great advantage. You need to clean the blades soon after use, so actually using the container to store the garlic for any extended time is not practical. The garlic is sticky and if you delay cleaning the blades, getting the blades clean is difficult.

I had purchased this for myself last year and liked it so much I bought one for my Asian daughter-in-law who uses a lot of garlic. I found that the best way to use it is to chop up a lot of garlic & put it in a plastic container with oil & keep it in the refrigerator. It stays fresh for months that way. Then I only need to spoon out what I need each time.

Based on the product photo on Amazon I thought this might be a more efficient way to mince garlic. It is not! The press is made of cheap plastic. Applying any amount of pressure with the palm of your hand as suggested in the directions feels like it would break the lid. Cheap cheap plastic. The minced garlic does not, for the most part, fall into the clear plastic container. Instead, the garlic gets stuck in the teeth of the mincer and extracting it is a slow process. By the time you've collected the minced garlic you wonder why you aren't just using the handheld press you've always used. And then there's the cleaning ... also a plodding slow process. I still intend on returning the product. Very happy to be reunited with my old handheld. Sorry, Sharper Image, but you've got to do better than this.

Blades were not nearly sharp enough - garlic was 'squished' rather than chopped. Threw item out!

Can't be use wanted to return but no one cm to pick up was very disappointed

Useful but leaves chunks in the end.

Its very good. reduce time consumed and does the chop in fraction of a second. Cleaning made so easy. I enjoy cooking with garlic chopped into tiny fragments. Value for money.

I totally agree with all other reviewers. It is absolute rubbish and a waste of money.
