Necessity for campers!!!
These are a necessity for those of us that live in tropical areas. I previously had these while living in the virgin islands, and recently bought another for my camping trip in the Florida Keys. Believe me, its worth it to kill that mosquito in your tent that will keep you up all night. This style works so much better than the ones with the safety cage. I've had both. The safety cage on the other model makes it harder to make contact with the mosquito. With this style, it zaps the bug instantly. However, you can also zap people easier (my drunk friends realized it would be fun to wake up the early passer outer with a zap. It won't hurt you, but it is a bit "shocking")Well worth the money!

It works well but doesn't make the crackling noise I'm used to with the other zappers.Yes this will shock you since there is not protective wire mesh; don't touch it while the button is pressed!Yes it's quiet, sometimes too quiet that I don't realise I've caught mosquitoes until I smell them burning or see the spark on the zapper.Yes it's effective.It's also much smaller than I anticipated but this isn't a problem

Strangley satisfying when you melt a mosquito!
This does work IF you get the bug in the cross wires. I nearly fell of my chair laughing when my husband did not think it was working and touched it while holding the button down. He's a believer now!

Good for mosquitoes and other light bodied insects
This style has a single layer of electrode wires which makes it superior for mosquitos and other light insects versus other brands that have multiple screens. Does the job.

Didn't work so well. Mosquitos went right through it. Now if you have big wood bees or larger wasps, this might work.
