yes to shopping at to get the job done they come with two extra large ones and I've used those for like trying to take the seam out of jeans

Can these be used with criss stitch?

I believe these rippers would work on any stitch, You might have to rip twice on a cross stitch I used these to rip denim and an old tarp and they worked great

Do these work in an airplane restroom?
