I bought these lights to use on my deck railings and I’m very impressed! I actually love them! Comes with double sided sticky tape and screws if you prefer to screw then in. So far I’ve used the double sided sticky tape and they’ve been sticking rain and all, not sure how long it will last though. If they don’t stick after awhile I will just screw then on! Also didn’t even have to charge with the sun for first use, lit up right when it got dark out (put them on 2 hours prior to sun going down) I think I may order another set!

We've had these lights for several months now and like some others say, they "die" after a while. What's happening is the really cheap 600mAh batteries that come with them are really just bad. I replaced the battery with an Amazon Basics 750mAh battery and not only did that fix the issue, but the light is brighter than the brand new LEDs I just bought. And with more capacity so they should stay lit longer! Also, if you buy the Amazon Basics AAA rechargeable batteries now, they're 800mAh, so even more capacity. Easy/cheap fix and you should get quite a bit more time out of them.

These lights are very charming and noticeable their soft illumination adds accent to anywhere placed turn on at dusk and turn back off at dawn. Light remain lit all night in my desert location (702)** UPDATE ** after 5 months lights are ceasing to work, assumption cheap batteries? They are in full sun all day, only remain lit for a short period and then fizzles out ** UPDATE ** dropped rating from 5 to 3 stars

If these things last at least a year, I'll consider these to be my favorite purchase. They are bright, easy to install, and far exceeded my expectations. I'll see you in about 6 months with an update!

(It has been 10 months outside in foggy weather and they are still working!)Bought the first set and every light works. Bought the second set and 1 didn’t work. Contacted seller and they send 2 immediately via priority mail.The light is soft and very easy one the eyes, not those sharp white ones. (If you care about fung shui than this is the color to get.). It provides enough light for an 8 ft space.If you are worry about water getting in due to fog or rain, seal the bottom two holes with scotch tape.

I ordered one set of these lights until I saw how well they worked. Then I ordered a second set. Two of the lights didn't work, unfortunately. I will contact the seller to see if there's something I'm not doing correctly. For now, I give them a 4/5. I would totally give them a 5/5 if they all worked, though. They look great on stairs and on the edge of a deck.8 MONTH UPDATE - Half of my two sets don’t work. I wouldn’t recommend these. 2/5 because the ones that do work look nice, but I should be able to get more life out of these.

I have a cedar deck behind my house that overlooks a forest. After work, I like to pour a bit of bourbon and enjoy the view as the sun goes down.There is a step down to my deck so I have been carrying a small flashlight to keep from tripping when I return to my house after dark. When I saw these solar powered lights, I thought they would be perfect to light my way. They would be exposed to full sun all day, and automatically turn on after the sun went down.They worked great! ...for a short time.After about two months, 3 of the lights stopped working. I contacted the seller and he quickly sent me replacements. But four days later, 2 more lights didn't work. Then a few days later, 3 more died. Within two weeks, all but 2 of the lights were dead.Once again, the step on my deck is dark.Bottom line; Good customer service, lousy lights.I guess I'll have to start carrying my flashlight again.

Yesterday was my daughter’s birthday and she and a few friends made s’mores and sat on the patio and the lights was a great touch.
