Fits perfectly on a Ruger American Rimfire

Perfect fit on my Ruger American rimfire. There are some faulty descriptions and misinformation concerning this product. These are TWO piece bases, as depicted in the photo, not a one piece base. The two bases are identical and either one can be used for the front or rear base on the rifle. Second, these bases are NOT Aluminum, They are STEEL. They are very well made and finished. I have utilized Warne mounts and rings for years in multiple applications and never had an issue; as an added bonus, they are made in the USA and are very competitively priced.

Matched with the Warne quick release scope rings, makes the steel on steel contact that is necessary to prevent damage to soft aluminum rings or base. The fit and finish is perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more.

These mounts fit perfectly and also allowed me to mount a "Skinner" rear sight behind and below my scope...
