Q2:Am i able to cut the led strip if it is too long for my room? is there a section on the strip where i can cut it? and would it still work?

Hi, thanks for your question. Yes there are cutting marks on the lights, and you can cut along with with it to the appropriate length.

I’ve only had it for about 2 weeks and they will not stay on. I didn’t have a sticking problem with the previous ones i bought kinda sucks

Can this be use for Christmas tree light?

I wouldn't use them on a tree, that's Not what they're meant for. They have adhesive on the back meant for decore around the home or place of business.

I need to cut it into 12 inch sections with 12 inch extensions, how can I do that ?

You can only cut where the lines are on the strip but once you cut you cannot reconnect. I started from a plug in the wall then worked my way along the wall up to the ceiling. With the other strip I started from the plug again and went up the opposite way up the wall and ceiling until the ends met...then I cut the excess
