For some reason I couldn't upload a video so,. The photo screenshot from the video doesn't do them justice at all. I bought them for a small alcove I made in my chimney breast wall which no longer had a fire. I've had battery operated church candles in the past but none were as life like as these The little plastic 'flames' move around and they look exactly like real candles! So many visitors to my house have been fooled cos they thought they were real. I LOVE them, they give me the fireplace glow focal point that I wanted and I will be buying more for different areas in the house seeing as they are so much safer than real candles ESPECIALLY, in my case, when you have cats and small neices and Nephews visiting the house. I've had them for almost 3 months now with duracell batteries in them, they're switched on for an average of 8 hours each evening and the ,',flame' is just as bright as it was when I first put the batteries in. One isn't on in the photo because I screenshot this from a video so the duller one was just flickering and I took the video before I had put batteries in them all. The remote control is great as well and gives you timer options so you can set them to go off after 2 ,-6 hours though, I don't use that function myself. I definitely recommend these if you like the look of real candles but can't have them burning because of pets and children or simply don't like the smoke that arises from them when you snuff them out..They're slightly slimmer than actual church candles which, I admit, I wasn't entirely pleased with when they arrived but,,.the fact that they look exactly like real candles when they're burning definitely makes up for them being that wee bit slimmer and I'm so glad I bought these and not a different type of battery operated candle. I highly recommend them and they're excellent value for money too...

The media could not be loaded.  These candles are just perfect for what I wanted. I love that they are slimline and different heights. I have them at my front door and they look so welcoming. Great value for money! Excellent delivery time too.

Look great, but turn on each day independently.

These are fantastic. If you don't look to hard they really look like real candles. I'm not sure how they work but the flame shaped but of plastic dances around on top of each candle very convincingly.They last ages! I was delighted to discover that if you use these on a timer (2, 4, 6 or 8 hours - via the supplied remote) they will automatically turn on again 24 hours later. It's been great, as the light of winter fades in the evening to have these pop into life one at a time and create a warming glow in the room. I think my first set of batteries lasted for about two months of 8 hours a day!! They do gradually lose brightness as the batteries fade but I think the longevity is phenomenal.As I said, I was so pleased I bought a second set. And the price is a total bargain. Love them.

Looks lovely, easy to use with the remote. Much safer than traditional candles

The remote control works well on these candles and can change the type of flame effect. I love them in my log burner to create a warm light during the summer months for decor purposes.

They look totally realistic and easy to turn on and off with the little remote control. Romance at the touch of a button

Arrived promptly and a fair size. Quite effective atmospheric light for Christmas but batteries not supplied.
