Saves me Vet Bills!!
This stuff is a MUST HAVE along with Vertercyn for any animal household. Can't believe how well this EMT heals wounds. I've used it after my 2 male dogs have gotten into fights...with of flesh wounds that didn't need stitches...and it really helped healing faster. Clean wound well first...and try to get it dry before dog starts licking it. It also has an anesthetic component, so it soothes the wound too. Wounds do heal faster.

Works great on minor injuries.
Used it several times for sporting dog injuries (Cuts, broken nails, injuries of this nature). Stops bleeding immediately.

Good item to have at home for your dog
Two pictures 2 weeks apart of a lick granoloma. The emt gel forms a barrier that keeps the wound moist so it can heal.Glad I made the purchase.

Great product
My rescue American Bulldog came to us with a hole on the edge of his ear. I could not get it healed for months. This is wonderful and has saved my walls from the blood spatter from the dog shaking his head (seriously it looked like a homicide scene at times). While it is not completely healed it is much better and the gel seals it and he doesn't mess with it anymore.

Not great for thin skinned Greyhounds.
I think it may work for some small cuts, but it really ruined a lick spot on my Greyhound. Too tacky, thick, and very hard to apply without hurting her thin skin more. I'll keep it, but I had to clean the spot off and apply some silver ointment to try to start the healing process again.

This is great stuff--I apply a glob it to any small cuts or scrapes on my labs. This stops the bleeding and lets things heal. One lab has "happy tail", so I can put this on the end of her tail and after about 2min to dry, no more blood spraying around. Neither dog minds the stuff, nor do they lick it off. Keep the cap screwed tight, as it can dry out (duh).

Awesome for first aid!
I keep this in my car first aid kit so I always have it with me.It stops cuts and scrapes from bleeding, seals them, and after a while, it dries and protects the wound. It's the consistency of honey.I do wish it dried faster, I seem to always brush the injury on something and get the wound cover messed up. I try for a very thin layer to help it dry faster. Also, it's VERY sticky. Which is a feature if you're putting it on skin with a cut. My dog got a cut on the inside of her ear flap, it wasn't deep, but it was wide and kept opening up, so I put some of this on there. Then she fell asleep, laying on that side. Her ear ended up glued to her head, with a mass of hair glued tightly to the cut. It took a lot of gentle washing and clipping hair gently. This stuff is still great, I still use it, but I'm very careful with it around hair and fur.
