Nespi4 for the win
I purchased the set that included everything, the only things I've added to this are a 1tb ssd, 2 usbc/bluetooth controllers, and a set of clear silicone "feet" that allow the ventilation on the bottom of the case more room to breathe than the feet already on the case.I am very happy with the construction of the case and have even brought it to work to show everyone my new "console". It feels really solid as one would expect from the parent company this case lovingly mimics. I wasn't impressed with the included controllers, but they function just fine until my new set arrived.I was able to follow several (not affiliated) YT tutorials to get the software installed and have been playing with it every weekend since.I'm very happy I jumped on this when I stumbled across it!

It’s really good with some minor issues
Everything is really good with this package deal other than the hdmi cable and the hdmi adapter. I couldn’t get any signal to my tv with the short hdmi cable at all. The only way I could get a signal out to the tv was with the cheap hdmi adapter that is a poorly designed to work with this pi case. The reason why I say this is because it will bend downwards with the weight of the hdmi plug and will eventually just break and stop working. I ended up just buying one at Walmart that works just fine. After you’ve configured the configure.txt to force video and audio out, plan on getting a new hdmi cable unless you luck out and it just happens to work for you. But this ninety-nine cent adapter is junk. I guess every seller will include the same thing, so I can’t say why they use this odd ball adapter.

Doesn't match description!
The Pi case that I got only has 2 USB 2.0 connectors, not 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 connectors! Also missing instructions on fan and heatsink placement (not that those are hard to figure out, but still...).

Awesome case and board but the other components are a bit cheap.
Loving my Nespi case and Raspberry Pi so far!The kit really has everything you need to get started quickly, although I ended up purchasing a separate SSD and 8bitDo controller (completely worth it btw). I especially love the detail and quality of the case. It’s such a cool piece of hardware! The Pi 4 with 4GB is surprisingly fast and has plenty of headroom in terms of RAM. The GPU is likely the main limitation of this device as I’ve reviewed CPU / RAM utilization when things get laggy, for those thinking they need 8GB.My only complaint with this bundle, and the reason I give it 4 stars, is the quality of the micro hd adapter and cable. They both failed on me within 2 months. I started having issues where my TV wasn’t recognized or would change resolutions intermittently until it finally stopped working all together. I ended up purchasing a separate high quality micro hd adapter and things are working great now.Overall a great purchase and a very fun project.

Spent 5 hours of my life troubleshooting to find out the included HDMI was bad.
No joke, I spent almost my whole saturday going insane by not getting any output no matter what. Im no systems engineer, but I know a thing two two about tech. I spent time looking up bizarre config options. I thought the case items might not be plugged in right, so fiddled with that over and over. Played with all sorts of monitors and SD images before I ran to best buy to get a new cable + SD card to rule anything out.Once setup, its great and as advertised. Seems like this is usually a quality product, but holy crap did I have a bad experience wasting a huge chunk of my weekend over something so mundane.

Some Issues, but Workable.
The Pi itself and the case were fine. The kit was supposed to include an onboard cooling fan but I only got a tiny case fan, but the seller shipped me one from China when contacted. *Edit* 7 weeks later still no fan had to order one from another seller on Amazon. The Micro HDMI to HDMI cable was DOA, kind of expected that though, but it also included a Micro HDMI to HDMI but that adapter bent under its own weight and that wasn't expected. The controllers were decent SNES clones. Not a terrible kit overall but there were some issues most easily remedied.

Awesome case
Everything worked as intended. It took a little reading figure a way to boot directly from the SSD, but was able to configure it to boot directly into retropie without an SD card. The included controllers work, but don't feel as though they are very rugged.

Amazing Set for RetroPie
I'm on my third GeeekPi set and am very happy with the product. This is the perfect NES-style set for Retropie builds. I absolutely adore the aesthetics and functionality of the NesPi 4 case, in addition to the great performance of the Raspberry Pi 4 4gb model. The thermals have been great, with idles sitting around 38-42C and maxing at 55-60C. The board fan is hit or miss on quietness; my first set is quiet, my third is a bit louder. The two included controllers might as well not be in the set. The cords are incredibly short and the controllers are really only useful for initial install purposes (pairing Bluetooth controller). Not a knock really, they are very cheap feeling controllers and I would expect people would instantly upgrade to something useful. I highly recommend an 8bitdo SN30 Pro or Pro+ with your purchase of this GeeekPi set.The safe shutdown script is a very cool feature which ensures proper shutdown when using the power button, avoiding system file corruption.I am only reducing the product score from a 5 to 4 given that my second set had a defect and was RMAed. Other than that inconvenience, I would highly recommend this product to a friend. In fact, I'm building the third for someone else as a gift.
