Quality was decent for the price. I did have to knock off a few burs with a file and sanding to prevent scratching of material. Not too bad.

Nice little anvil for small work, like setting snaps or rivets in leatherwork. If you want to leave it on your desk or work surface, it is an attractively made device. If it were larger and heavier I would think it was too large for my purposes but I found this one just right. I have a large anvil but I like to work in an environment unsuitable for the big one, which is heavy and the work would have to come to the anvil. This one I can use at my office desk for the kind of small jobs I usually do.
