This is a great deal for 2 silhouette blades, and they really last! (As long as you follow your machine's setting guidelines). If you use too high of a cutting number for your project, you will dull these very quickly, so make sure you follow the suggested cut numbers!

I love my Silhouette Cameo. The one bit of advice I have is to keep at least one extra blade on hand, for when the blade you're using starts to go dull. What I do is if I need to cut something especially intricate or on thinner paper, I pop out the old blade and put in a new one just for that cutting job. This way I extend the life of the blades by continuing to use the slightly-worn one for thicker paper and simpler cutting jobs, while saving the newer, sharper blade for trickier cuts.

LOVE my Silhouette Cameo! It's insanely cool and cuts with dazzling precision. I'm primarily posting however, to say, "THANK YOU" to the reviewer who recommended using Reflections cardstock from Michael's. You're my hero for posting this highly useful tip! I just ran down to Michael's and picked up a pack of the cardstock and it's made a massive difference. The cuts are now very clean and I'm able to peel off the cut designs in one piece, without having to fiddle with any "hanging chads." Cheers!

Works as it should, i love my silhouette and all the products are sturdy and durable. Couldn't ask for a better product

Standard exacto knife Style blade. So heavy card stock weairs it pretty quick. Is easy to install and adjust but a deep set to increase blade life just damaged the mat. With it was a A2 harden tool steel with a coating. Would add more life at this price.

I purchased my Silhouette Cameo in November 2013, and I am very frustrated with the replacement blades. They dull VERY quickly. I clean my blades regularly. I carefully choose the depth setting. I do fairly lightweight projects. It is ridiculous to have to replace these blades every 2-3 projects.

These are way better than the autoblade that comes with the Cameo 3. For one, the autoblade sometimes just doesn't adjust right. It's also a quicker/quieter job, because the autoblade needs to reset even if doing the exact same job with no changes in blade depth.
