While my dog totally hates it, I am in love with this costume! He hates all outfits so this one was no different but hey, it’s one evening of the year. The costume is super well made and the mane/hat part stays up, which is pretty rare for costumes that I’ve purchased for my dog in the past. But, make sure you measure your dog/animal! For reference, my dog is a tall toy poodle and 9 pounds and I ordered the large. I’m glad I read the other reviews and did the measurements because I don’t think my dog has ever been a large in anything before. It fits a little snug so you may want to up size just in case. There is not any velcro or anything. It’s just one piece (which is a bit odd). So it takes a little bit of time to put it on. But once it’s on. It’s on and stays put. Also, this may not be good if your dog runs hot or if you live in a warm climate as it’s very thick. It reminds me of a kids costume you would get if you lived in the north east and you didn’t want your kid to get cold while trick or treating outside. Overall, such a good costume and amazing value! Can’t wait for halloween!

Prompt delivery item reflects price. Is very very cute. The body of this costume fit perfectly, however it seemed the headpiece was not the right length, if I put it on her head fully it was too tight. I will remove the seam to the headpiece and add Velcro. That will allow more room and without it she can wear it as a piece of warm clothing. It is a very cute costume!! I wish they had this in an extra large my friends all wanted one but they had pit bulls and Dobermans.

Size is not accurate, small doesn't fit a chihuahua. This costume doesn't look like picture. Would not recommend.

Super soft, and warm. Stretched to fit him perfectly. Toby was not fond of it over his ears and it didn't want to stay. He is going to look so cute on Halloween. The last two he was getting into character. Toby is a 15 lb min pin and the extra large fit him.

I have a 7&1/2lb chihuahua... bought a small as recommended by size chart. Costume is definitely not high quality but, it's for 1 day...it's really stiff & the material is rough on the inside. The mane on it also needs some work. I had to cut it so it actually fluffed up like the pic, so be warned. That being said, laughed by butt off once it was on the dog- looked hilarious. The kids will love it, so keeping.

Well made and looks amazing on my dog, but I didn't consider how thick the fabric was. It's a bit heavy for Halloween in Los Angeles. But my pooch is just gonna have to deal, cause as I said she looks amazing.

This item wasn't like I thought or look as pictured,but if you have a pet as cute as I do,then you won't mind the cheesy outfit. That's why I didn't show pictures (they would have to pay me something). The material was off and his Lion's mane was pretty scruffy. But all in all the outfit fit nicely.

Quality and size are great! Good value for money..... my puppers looks adorable!!!!
