Update: about every 6th straw in the box I received is broken (and this is even without trying to pull any of them up to bend them!) which is unacceptable and I would not order them again. You can't see if they are broken when you open the box so you only figure it out when you want to use them.I have used maybe 6 so far and already had to throw away two because they were broken above the flex area - I will update the review as I use more, but this is not a good start. The package was not in 'perfect' shape when it was delivered, but seemed to be in good enough condition (= the straws were not squeezed or split and there did not seem to be any compression from top to bottom).

This product is absolutely amazing! the straws are just like plastic straws but biodegradable and eco friendly. They are very resistant. I normally use paper straws but I love that these are flexible. Great length for larger glasses. It also has a thicker diameter than normal so you can use them for smoothies, juices, etc.

I buy straws for my bedside water glass, and I'm concerned for the sea turtles, so I want the ones I buy to be biodegradable. But they also need to function. It's pretty frustrating to go for a drink of water in the middle of the night to find the straw has a hole in it--and all I get is air. I'd say about 25% of these straws fail. Amazon has better straws available.

I love this product! These biodegradable straws work exactly like plastic straws, but without harming the environment or creating more waste. They are very sturdy and hold up in drinks all day long. I love that they don’t require cleaning like metal straws while still being eco-friendly. Also they shipped super quick. I will definitely buy these again.

If you like the feel of plastic straws, these are great. They feel a little thinner than traditional plastic straws, but it doesn’t affect how the straw works. I use them for my iced coffee in the morning that I make for work. To me this is a better option than reusable steel straws (which I tried).

I was hoping for sturdier straws, but the thinness of them and maybe the material used unfortunately means otherwise. Many of the straws have holes in them already, and others form holes when extending the flexible part. The length of the straws is great, but the holes make them unusable.

The straws are thick and sturdy enough to endure even the thickest drinks. I recommend them highly.

Do not purchase unless you are using for clear drinks, such as water or soda. These straws bend and kink immediately on anything else. They will not work for smoothies, slushies, or milkshakes. They are a great idea, but just do not hold up to anything more than a thin liquid. I could not discern any taste with the straws though, so that's a positive. I am returning.
