I was apprehensive about buying this. Seemed like a lot of money with lack luster reviews. Most of this As Seen on TV stuff isn't that great. I am pleasantly surprised though. Its very soft, and seems to be a pretty good quality product. Battery life, in my experience, is going to depend on use. The lights stay on for 20 minutes then turn off. Between the lights and motor that makes them move, battery life will fully depend on use. I was have 2 and have had them for over 2 weeks now. 1 is still on the initial batteries and the other just got its second set. To me this isn't horrible. The only real thing left to be desired would be sound/ music, but not a deal killer by any means. Yes the light is very bright, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to turn it on and off and not look into the light. All in all I'm happy and would recommend.

My son is 10mths old and we recently bought this for him. He absolutely loves it. The little dinosaur is super cute and it changes colors . It's easily operated as my son figured it out the same night within about 30mins of getting it. He likes to chase the stars on the floor while my husband holds it and moves them around. But it also helps him to settle in a sleep on his own in the crib as well which is why we bought it. I posted a video on Facebook of it and people liked it so much I had to share the link for them to buy their kids/grands. My mom ordered a little unicorn one for my daughter being born next month . I plan to buy the rechargeable AAA batteries bc I can tell this will be used a lot . My husband evem likes it and plays with it and he's 36 yrs old lol the only thing that would make it better is if it sang a melody too

I purchased this dinosaur for my toddler grandson to sleep with. This if by far his favorite huggable stuffy. He does love having the stars displayed around the room, but he also loves to snuggle up with it while he falls asleep. I definitely recommend this product.

The first one that came, caused me to have to ask for a refund or replacement because it seemed as if the star rotation button wasn’t working. The replacement said it would be here the next day so I chose that.The first thing I noticed was I could NOT get the screw driver I had used for the first to open the second... so I got out my eye glass repair kit and used one of the super tiny ones in that. So much easier!Second, when I tried the replacement, I realized the rotation - at both speeds, was SO slow that I first thought it wasn’t working too... and then second thought maybe I had been wrong and the first hadn’t been malfunctioning after all - just so slow I thought it was. But, after checking out the first again, the first had not, in fact, been working.When I tried to get the batteries from the first and close it up again I had to just give up and Velcro the bottom with it still open because a normal screwdriver being used even just once had messed up the screw to being near stripped on the face. It also doesn’t come with batteries so make sure you get the 3 triple A’s it needs before letting a little guy or girl down that they have to wait to check it out.That stuff is basically fixable/avoidable... but made it lose a star for giftable (and 1/2 a star overall because of that)So onto the actual item. Let me say... this thing is SO STINKING SOFT. Ten stars for soft. Rub your hand along it's back and you’ll want to snuggle with it lol.I took another 1/2 star from the overall rating because of the loss of a star for value for money because in order for the night light/projection part of this to really work well, you really need to have a pretty dark room, and can’t be too far from a wall or ceiling that has no ambient light around to mess with seeing them.I like that this item has a few different animals to choose from, and I will be keeping the replacement they sent.

Oh my daughter loves this, she's 6. has to have it on every night when she goes to sleep. looks exactly how its shown.

My kid wanted one of these (yay tv ads) and after trying to find something comparable and failing i finally caved and bought one for Christmas. The batteries are tucked behind a fabric flap and behind a screw so it would be hard for a kid to access the actual batteries. The light is bright and blinding in a dark room but it does actually project on to the ceiling quite well, I'm glad my kid is ok with it doing that on a table, as i think the light would be distracting if it actually got turned on while he was asleep (though the buttons would be hard to hit accidentally). I feel its expensive for what it is, but it does well and I had a hard time finding a plush that was like it
