King Technology Frog Serene Bromine Cartridge 2 Pack 01-14-3824

Bought these to replace the purple cartridge provided when I bought my hot tub. The purple setting was on 2 and lasted 3 months with readable levels on test strips. I changed it out with this. I've gone up to 6 with no detectable level on water test strips. Should have bought the purple cartridge again. Saw a floater and bromine tablets at Walmart this year in pool chemical area of store, tried 2 tablets in floater set on 1 and, you got it, detectable levels shown!

The product is supposed to float upright in your hot tub to help keep it clean. Instead it sank to the bottom of the tub and some of the powder coming from the tube. I assume it is too old and expired. I did not open to use until shortly after the window to return had ended. I will not be purchasing this product from this vendor again.

Been using these Spa Frogs ever since we got our hot tub. Easy and reliable. Good price on Amazon. I use these with the blue mineral cartilages. Takes all the fuss out of chasing the tubs chemicals.

The cartridges I received did not last the usual four to five weeks. Even on the lowest setting, they only lasted a few days. I don’t know if they are counterfeit or just defective, but they definitely didn’t work as well as the ones I received in the past.

Works exactly as expected in our new Marquis Epic spa. They seem to last about one month with biweekly hot tub usage. Our tub is 450 gallons. These make keeping hot tub clean super easy.

Have used the frog system for a few years now and it's the ultimate set it and forget it system. Water is perfect according to the test strips.

These Bromine floaters work great. There is a slight odor but much more pleasant than chlorine plus no faded suits or stinging eyes.
