Prayer Life by Andrew Murray is the BEST! I don't know what to say because Holy spirit is the one who introduced me to this great spirit lead book written by a great man of God. I love the way Mr.Murray pointed the scriptures and explained the essence of pursuing God with passion and rigor.I really advice for all the believers who sincerely want to experience the riches of God and Spirit, this is the winner for guiding you with clarity and conviction.

This is a wonderful book on the importance of a prayerful life and the benefits of prayer. Prayer for yourself and for others. It also let's you know how important it is to thank God in prayer for all he has done and that is first before you ask for anything. I love this book and will keep coming back so I can keep my mind and heart connected.

Prayer is the very essence of the Christian walk. Without it, Christians are sounding brass and tinkling symbols. This book is a must for every Christian and is easy to read. Andrew Murray is a wonderful author and hits the nail on the head! Since we purchased in bulk, this was the best deal on the internet!

I am gleaming so much from this book about how to walk with God in His power by faith. Andrew speaks of what he knows and says it like no other.

I am not sure if it is my aging brain but I found this book difficult to read. It does have lots of scripture which I like. The sentences seem really long so I often would need to reread to follow the thoughts. I am about half way through it now. I like the short chapters. I would not recommend this book to a new Christian but if you are looking for a book on the deeper Christian life it might be right for you. The price is right so don’t let my review stop you from purchasing it……..I want to add this book is more geared for a preacher. It often mentions a congregation & preacher.

If you are looking for guidance for a better prayer life and closer walk with God, this is it. I purchased four copies to give to friends. They loved it as well.

Andrew Murray was a prolific writer. He writes with insight, clarity and conviction. His thoughts make one want to return to them again and again. In a sense they work away inside you. There are a number of typos, some of which are erratic at times. However, it is inexpensive and valuable to have on the Kindle. Some may find what he says dated. Others may feel that his message is timeless. Either view point, there is surely something here for all readers.

Excellent guidance for Christians in all stages of life. The language is quite different, being somewhat archaic but it's meaning is perfectly clear and understandable. If you're used to reading your bible, then this won't be difficult. I am a new Christian, although in my early fifties, and I found this book opened my eyes to the importance of prayer and made me realise what an insult to God it is when we fail to pray. It seems obvious that prayer is important but this book explains why it is important, to us and God. Murray writes about the "Sinfulness" of lack of prayer, a lot, but don't be put off by this, because by the time you've read a few chapters, you'll realise for yourself that lack of prayer is a sin, but a sin easily remedied. I now enjoy my praying and really value my time in prayer. It really is one of the most precious gifts of God because He is allowing us to speak to Him, and He hears us. When we really think on that it is amazing, the God of all the universe hears you and I, wow. This book makes us focus on that, simple really and I am glad I read it. It changed my prayers.

Andrew Murray is a lovely writer, He has a devotional way of writing, which helps you to have insight into the word of God. Yet encourage you to be a better Christian. All his books are worth having, They are not large books, and are easy reading.

There are yet few books which speaks of God's mind, it is evident that the hand and the mind of God is in this powerful revelation of the requirements of a spiritual being; the necessity of the inner chamber and its importance to a successful Christian living is revealed through the HolySpirit in great measure. I cannot but encourage all Christians to read to understand the profound truth that is made available in this book through His servant 'Andrew Murray'. It is a blessing to have read such a powerful book and I look forward to reading many more books which God has helped him to write.God bless you richly.
