These are more equivalent to a 10-watt bulb than the 40-watt they say it is. The color is great, but it isn't bright enough for anything but lighting a small accent with the orange color. I also bought the purple ones and they are very bright, so I'm not sure what's up with this particular color.

These bulbs were purchased with a set of purple bulbs to light house columns for Halloween - 5 columns each about 12 feet apart, as backlighting, shining upwards. The purple bulbs are fantastic! They provide a nice amount of glow. Unfortunately the orange are overpowered by the purple and as such are hard to distinguish in the lighting scheme. I haven’t attempted a mono orange color scheme yet so it’s possible I may revise the rating up one star if they can hold their own.They’ve only been operational for two weeks, so I can’t comment on longevity - they’re working fine. And i expect to swap them out for my regular bulbs within a week, limiting the amount of time they’ll be in service.Ass for energy efficiency, these lights were not purchased with efficiency in mind, so any attempt to justify a rating wouldn’t be fair.

We mounted these inside pumpkin props and they were great. Owen mr16 connectors and 12 volt transformer.

Ordered orange bulbs. They are very red. Second replacement same color saying orange but arriving red. Returned one set as “wrong color” but kept one set for Christmas. Good quality and replacement service. Just not orange.

Used them for outside halloween decoration. They work great and color and brightness are just "spooky" enough.

Gives me great options for exterior up lighting for holidays

Product fit into existing lamp holders. Light is on the purple side, but still blue.
