I'd give this a zero, but one is the lowest rating available. I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of this product. I purchased one 7 years ago and have used it constantly, dragging it around with me over the course of 2 dozen moves, stuffed it into the car, dragged it around and it withstood the use without any damage. Until, a dog at the boarding facility chewed a hole in the bottom :( No problem I thought, I'll just buy a new one, I certainly got my monies worth with the original one, right? I hung the new one on a doorknob to fill it like I've done hundreds of times with the old one and the plastic ring broke into numerous pieces. Apparently, there has been a redesign which is nowhere near the quality as the design from 7 years ago. I do not recommend this product under any circumstances. VERY disappointed. I purchased the Soft Store Collapsible 30-Pound container to hold our puppy food ONLY. Today as I was feeding the puppies, I noticed more than three white horizontal tears in the lining about three inches down from where the lid meets the storage pouch. I have filled this storage unit only with puppy food no more than three times since we have had it. It was shipped to me on May 8, 2016. We have not traveled or carried it anywhere on any trips; nor is it accessible to the puppies. Odd place for tears to start forming so I question the quality of the liner. I am very disappointed.

I bought this for RV trips to hold dog food. I've used it for 3 weekend trips and it has sat in a room in my house undisturbed otherwise. I went to use it today and the black ring that seals to the bag and that the lid screws to had completely broken, rendering the whole bag useless. Nice idea, but the black plastic used is too cheap.

the top screws on to a plastic rim attached to the plastic cloth. the first one I bought 12 years ago was great. One of my dogs got to the bag and chewed the material through a year ago. I've replaced it now twice... the first replacement came and months later the plastic ring around the top broke causing it to detach from the material. The second replacement purchased a month ago, the plastic ring came new detached. They just must not be making them like they used to. I'd not recommend them anymore.

I would avoid purchasing this until the manufacturer fixes a defect. The lid assembly appears to have been cut all the way around the inner rim so there are now three pieces to the lid, and it there is no way for it to be attached to bag. See photos, which show the rough edge caused by this cut all the way around the rim. Looks like it would be a great product if it weren't broken. I got two replacements, and all three had the same exact problem. Someone else had a recent review where it broke within one day; looks like they had the same problem. So save your time and patience until this issue is fixed.

Gave it 3 stars because it doesn't hold 30lb of dog food. I read reviews before buying the product and was on the fence about purchasing the larger size bag because of people mentioning this exact problem. But from the way it sounded I assumed I might only have a couple days of overflow, not 2 weeks worth. I feed my dog Nutro adult dog food and I want to say they are an average size nugget of food. I was able to fit maybe 22lb of food in there (I don't own a scale otherwise I would have weighed it). For 30lb to fit it needs to be SMALL bits. I think the product is great but get the bigger size bag if you order 30lb bags of dog food so it has a better chance to fit.

It seemed like such a good product to use for traveling, but the top part broke within the first day of filling up, so now it won't fully close. This wasn't even using it for it's original purpose of traveling in the vehicle, which would put even more stress on it.

I would give this product zero stars if I could. The first one lasted two days and the second one less then 60. Of course it’s now to late to get my money back. This product should be removed from Amazon...plastic is cheap and breaks. The original product I purchased 10 years ago was heavy duty and great this junk

**Editing my review: minus a star since the lid broke after around 2 years of use. Seems to seal but I just can’t hang it up anymore since the lid broke where it meets the hanging handle. Still using it but sits on the floor instead, would be great if there was an option to repurchase the lid.**I love this for storing my dog food! I live in a small apartment and this hides easily and keeps the food fresh! I like buying the larger bags of dog food but since I have a small dog he doesn't eat very much, this bag keeps his food fresh throughout the couple months it takes him to finish it. I also don't want to wash it every time I switch the food so I put a kitchen garbage bag into this and then I put the dog food in the bag. This way you just throw it out when you're putting in new food, no crumbs or mess in the storage bag!

I can't believe I didn't buy this earlier. You know how excited your dog is when you open a fresh bag of food? Well that's every day with this bag. I think I'll buy a few more as gifts for my dog lover friends.
