Sunny Health & Fitness Space Efficient Multi-Function Magnetic Rowing Machine

With Covid-19, like many others, we've been upgrading our 'home gym'. We don't have that big of a space, we need something that we can move out of the way, it needs to be quiet, and it needs to be well built and work well. This dual-fitness rower from Sunny fits the bill... but I actually had to hunt around for this model. It's not heavily promoted like the other rowers (in YT videos as well as here on Amazon). In fact, it didn't even have any reviews when we bought it (where the other Sunny units has thousands of reviews). I really didn't want a rower that takes up much room, and while many of them bend and fold in a spot, that just weakens the rower during performance, and it doesn't fold up all that compact. This one is solid, doesn't fold or bend anywhere, but it does stand up on end... and when it's up on end, it takes up less footprint than a bar stool. It's great! Plus it's silent during use. It's a great price, too. It's a simple unit, but we have all sorts of other peripherals for our workouts (Apple watch, heart monitor, big screen TV this sits in front of)... we don't need nor want a bunch of attachments within the rower itself. Yes, the big air and water rowers are nice, but they are loud and bulky... this one isn't. This is as close to a really decent rower as I could find for our needs in a home gym for the price. Again, I don't know why it's not very promoted and one has to dig for it to find it... but you'll be happy once you do ;-)

I am lazy, I have MS, I like to sit. This is the absolute best machine for people like us!! Put your earbuds in and just get lost in it and next thing you know after a few weeks….you have abs!!! What the huh… Who the wha??? The best decision I have ever made was this purchase. I highly recommend this for ease of use. It is quiet, smooth and dare I say it… fun!!

It was really well packed in a big box. It was easy to remove from the box and easy to assemble. Its small footprint with upright storage is perfect for me. It seems to be a well made, sturdy rower. (I've been using it for 3 months.) It has nice, smooth glide action on the seat. It's quiet. I am very happy with it. I took off one star because the Digital Monitor doesn't work. Also, the resistance is just good enough at next to the highest setting. I wish it had more. (I am petite, 65 and not interested in rowing as a sport.)

I bought this as rowing was the main thing I've missed at my gym since it closed during pandemic. I happen to be a petite, 55-year-old female, so had the delivery guys bring the large box into my house but assembled it myself. I found the packaging throughout was impressively designed and ensured no damage and no lost parts on arrival. Assembly took about 30 minutes after first reading through the instructions (as I do). The quality is great; very stable, comfortable and smooth. I'm 5'-5" but it looks like it could accommodate a much taller person with no issue. To me this is a great value for the money - highly recommend.

This is a bare bones rower that is easy to assemble and can be stood on its end out of the way. Those are two huge bonuses. It's relatively quiet, too. I only hear the roller on the bar when I use it. For the money, it's a good buy. If it were more, it would have been returned.1. The seat is very hard and very uncomfortable. Boats and kayaks have shaped, foam seats that relieve pressure in your tukus while you sit. This is just a hard, flat seat. I did buy a gel kayak pad that helps a lot.2. The display is low, angled downward, dim, and low contrast. Basically, I can't see it when using the rower, so I don't. The spot for your phone is handy but I think if I tried putting my tablet in that spot, I'd hit it with the cord. You don't need the display anyway, so when the batteries run out I won't replace them.3. There is little resistance while rowing. There is a difference between the lowest setting, 1, and the highest, 16 but it's insignificant. That is disappointing because while I don't expect to lift weights while rowing, resistance does increase the required effort and actually helps maintain form because there is something to pull against. Oddly, if you stand over the rower to do rows or curls, the resistance is much higher.

Used my daughter in laws Sunny Health rowing machine several times and liked it so well I bought one for myself. This one is a little different from hers. I don't have as much floor space as she does. So this one caught my eye because you can stand it up when not in use. LOVE it! Fairly easy assembly. No missing parts. Would buy it again!

This has magnetic resistance, so it's weak compared to air resistant rowers like the Concept 2. But if you just looking for anaerobic exercise this is ideal. The pull handle is places past the feet rests for maximum reach, which is something other affordable rowers don't offer. This also has a place to put your phone or tablet so you can youtube while you row. This rower is compact and has super small footprint especially in upright storage position. I honestly wanted the concept2, its' much better but it's too long, and costs way to much. This product is great for cardio in a small room. This is also magnetic resistance so it's quiet compared to air risistant rowers like the Concept2.

This does the job. Arrived on time, and easy to assemble. This machine works the entire body, and its so easy to use. No strain on the body at all and you will feel the results before you see them. I love it...

I couldn't be happier. This is a great addition to my home fittness routine. It is very quiet. It is narrow, light and easy to transport. Took no time to assemble. It is really well made. It may not fold, but can stand on end and takes up little space in a corner. It is a little shorter and narrower than the one next up from this model. And when you live in a condo every inch matters. It is easy to use, and you can get a good workout on with the resistance levels. It has a convenient water bottle holder and handy slot for your phone right in front at your feet. Other models have it on top of the fly wheel housing, where the reach for the phone would be awkward. I would recommend this rower. At the price, you can't beat it.
