Edenbrook Bedroom-Six Drawer-Modern Design-Easy Assembly Dresser, 55L x 16W x 36H inches, White

I’ve been redoing my bedroom so I bought 2 nightstands, a book case and 3 dressers all different brands from different places and had to assemble all but one within about a 1 month timeframe. This was the final piece. I had been waiting for my local Scandinavian furniture store that shall remain unnamed to get what I wanted back in stock but due to COVID it was just taking too long. So I took a chance, spent more, and got the final piece, this dresser from Amazon. I didn’t want the feet on it because the dresser I had before this was the height this one is without feet so I didn’t put them on. I also hate things going under furniture so I like things to come all the way to the floor with no extra space so this was perfect. I put furniture sliders instead of the feet and let me tell you, off all 5 things I assembled in a month this was the QUICKEST and the easiest (aside from the bookcase) and I am GREAT at assembling furniture. I can whip together the Scandinavian store furniture easily and this was so much faster than THAT! I mean it took an hour tops by myself as a woman! I will CLEARLY keep an eye out for this brand when I do my daughters room. It shipped using Prime which was GREAT. The price was a littleHigh for a laminate dresser but in the end I absolutely love it and would buy again 5 times over.The delivery was weird, it showed up at 6:30 am yesterday and I awoke to the sound of the guy dragging it up my steps, onto my patio and then driving off without ringing the bell so be ready for that if you buy this but I just opened the box outside and bought the pieces in bit by bit because I didn’t feel like waiting for hubby to get home.

1. Out of the box, the pieces did not line up appropriately, were warped, and pieces had chipped paint 2. This was advertised as not requiring tools, however, given that the wooden "tabs" were not smoothed down, the slots for those tabs weren't large enough, AND that the material was warped AND cut incorrectly, a mallet (and drill, to cut holes in the correct spots) would have been required. Not having either at the time, as "no tools were required", I struggled for hours just to put the major pieces together. 3. The metal rails for the drawers were not constructed correctly, and as a result the bearings kept falling out as I tried to install the drawers.I now have a giant, overpriced piece of composite material that has drawers that I can only open with a struggle. I have built many pieces of furniture from IKEA and Sauder, as I enjoy the process of building, but have never had such a negative experience as Edenbrook Daley Six Drawer (NOT Easy Assembly) Dresser.

At first I was impressed by the structure and sturdiness of the pieces. The drawers were well-fitted and glide nicely. My husband put it together pretty easily, and it seemed very solid. Unfortunately, the “support leg” underneath (in the middle of the dresser) is shockingly bad. My friend & I slid the dresser across a smooth wood floor, & we heard a crack. The center “support leg” had tilted, and cracked the bottom piece of wood that it was screwed into.My husband will jimmy another support piece, and we will not slide the dresser again. My daughter likes it & since she’s not rough with things, it’ll be fine.

I have bought 2 of these and I love them. They are super sturdy and make the room look very modern. I have the dresser that matches with is as well. I think it is awesome for the price and the quality is above and beyond. It takes about 10min to put together.

I have assembled countless toys and furniture pieces from desks to dressers to beds, etc. This was probably the most challenging to make work of any I have done. Strategies such as inserting all screws loosely first and then tightening opposite screws on the same piece and lining things up as you tighten as carefully as you can was critical. I was planning to return the dresser after simply unpacked the parts (see pic 1), but I was able to clean filthy pieces and hide the majority of scratches and scuffs strategically. Many screw holes were not straight (see pic 2 of leg attachment side...holes not even straight with center pin). The drawers were the true challenge. You can't adjust any of the slide rails so you kind of have to assemble all six drawers and then move them around and hope to get lucky and find a combination that works with the way the outer edges of the drawers space related to each other or you will have a very shoddy and cheap outward appearance with asymmetric gaps around and between drawers. Additionally, three of the six drawer handles' threaded holes were stripped badly enough and the screws were too short so I had to countersink the screws inside the drawers (see pic 3) in order to get the threads to stick out long enough to catch the handles and secure them into place.In the end I created something that I am happy enough with to keep, but if you don't like a challenge and pieces arriving dirty/damaged bothers you, this dresser is probably not for you. I expected better for the price. There were cheaper dressers with better reviews, but I chose this one because it was all wood and I like the design. Two star product. Three because I made it work.

This was the perfect dresser for me. After spending days researching and reading reviews, I took a chance on this one.I am very satisfied with my purchase!!It was super easy to assemble because they have these tab inserts that make it effortless to put the pieces together. There was minimal tooling involved and when it was complete, it felt sturdy and looked great!The only con I would say is like another review I read. Fingerprints and smudges are fairly noticeable on the matte black, but because of how nice the dresser is, it easily outweighs that in my opinion. One suggested solution was to go over it with paint and refinish it, which you could do if it really bothers you.All in all, this was an excellent purchase and I'm glad it was very affordable too!

Very easy to assemble. High quality materials and hardware. Was packed very thoughtful: no damage occure during delivery. Very satisfyied. Just one thing to pay attention to: it is VERY heavy.

I knew it was a risk to purchase an unreviewed product... but I guess someone has to!I was really excited to include this night stand in my newly renovated home. After spending two hours assembling it, I decided to take it apart, box it back up, and return it.In the photos it appeared sturdy, sleek, and modern. I real life it appears cheap and flimsy. The paint is not uniform and all edges have very noticible imperfections.The construction is flimsy, you can see light though gaps of several millimeters where there is almost nothing holding it together.When assembling it as directed it fell apart bending the flimsy clips which are the only thing holding the top onto the product. I don't think it would last long if you needed to move it occasionally.It is reminiscent of the type of furniture Ikea made in the early 1990s.Don't waste your money.

This ended up being more "heavy duty" feeling than I expected. It's very sturdy feeling and well made.The weight of the box made me dread putting it together, but it ended up being incredibly simple. It feels well thought out in that it avoids some of the tedious assembly steps you get with other "flat pack" furniture, which is really nice. The instructions are short and simple, but clear enough.I saw some other reviews mention getting scuffed/damaged parts with their unit and indeed, mine does have a few blemishes including one of the metal drawer handles being scratched up a fair amount. For the price, size and overall build quality of the unit it isn't something that bothers me a great deal, but it might be something worth keeping in mind.

Easy to assemble. Looks Elegant and fits my room well.

It came with a chip that they tried to paint over (poorly) and full of dirty fingerprints that were not possible to wash away.The drawers are not easy to close correctly. Fortunately, we are resourceful so we did paint the whole thing again and it does look nice (for a dresser that we intend to not keep for long).
