Awesome concept, not for me
It all started when I was looking for convenient options for not only a SPC but a g and separate j tube (combo tube didn’t work for us) on an upcoming trip. I loved bags & products I’ve used from this awesome company previously. Amazing quality, reasonable prices, most items have multiple options on size, what style tap/drain it has, and some you can choose what accessories you prefer to use. So when I saw one of my favorite supply companies had this disposable option. It was a great concept. I’m sure many love it. For me the biggest issue was the waste of plastic. Having a catheter, multiple tubes, and central line I want to eliminate excess plastic in landfills. So throwing a bag away (I could use 1-3 minimum, sometimes 4, and once 5 in a day depending on a specific medication combo sliding scale dose need) after one use was bothersome. I also didn’t like the straps. I found the edges of the velcro to be scratchy and had a little room so it was able to lift enough and poke my thigh. I also had challenges keeping it up/needing to be frequently adjusted and I use a wheelchair! However, I’ve use the sleeves from UGO before and loved them. Highly recommend them. I found the night bag holder and stand (purchased a prior time) to be a hassle with my chair and just used a small waste basket with handle. Worked well for me. This monthly kit is cool as they have many options to customize to your liking. I know the whole point of disposable is to throw away but I’d love to see them add their reusable night bags as an option (at a lesser quantity like 4-6 per month vs 28). I’d also love the choice of bag tap to drain as I have a hard time with the t tap and the non cloth backed leg bags. I have to rinse mine frequently and the fabric stayed damp longer than expected and got scratchy feeling . I like the plain backs better.Yes I’m still giving this five stars. While it wasn’t for me, the concept and quality alone are worth that for the kit. I feel it would be unfair to downgrade based on my quirks with the included items that did not affect the quality. It isn’t often we get extremely made medical supplies. Ugo has some of the best I’ve tried out there.

Good quality
My husband has a suprapubic catheter, which he will have for the rest of his life. He is 79. He has used various brands of leg bags and nighttime bags, and these are the best he has used. It is very helpful to have a daytime leg bag that connects to the nighttime bag so that the connection to the catheter doesn't have to be changed every night and every morning. It cuts down on transfer of bacteria, and it is much less time consuming. He gets UTIs very easily, which means a trip to the VA emergency room and hours gone because we always have to wait so long. Plus the ER staff have gotten tired of seeing him there and now won't see him unless he has a fever, which is when the infection is too far gone to make treatment easy. These bags make things better. He hasn't had an infection since January, when he had the COVID virus and a really bad UTI and ended up in the hospital for almost a week. The infection turned out to be worse than the virus. So anything that helps avoid another infection is a very good thing. This box has a month's supply of bags for both daytime and nighttime, plus straps, etc. This is better than buying everything separately, which becomes very costly. And it make reordering fast and easy. The only thing I don't like about these bags is I wish they had a little larger size for the nighttime bags. Otherwise, I fully recommend these bags to anyone unfortunate enough to need catheter bags.

Very short tube
Unfortunately, the only thing useful in the box were the straps. Other catheter bags I have seen, have the connection to the catheter tube right at the top. This one has a tube coming from the bag. That tube is too long and should not be there. All it does is pull the catheter. The night time bags have short tubes. They are not recommended for anyone who moves during the night. The night bags also did not allow all the urine to flow into them. My husband woke up about to explode because no urine was leaving the 500ml bag to get into the 2000ml bag. Everything was correctly put together and the nozzle was on the 500ml bag was open. The clip that holds the top of the catheter in place is a waste. It again, just pulls the catheter out because you can not place it in the right spot. It seems like it was designed for someone who does not move. It's a shame because I thought the idea of the night bag clipping in to the day bag would alleviate having to keep changing bags back and forth. So I wasted $50 and have a box of useless items.

Great for backup but not daily use
I got these when my home health company had my usual supplies on back order. The various sizes of bags are really handy. However, the t-taps are horrible! They’re not drainable and reusable. So, I feel like it’s a bit of a waste. The stat locks fall off immediately. If you don’t pre-inflate, they will sometimes leak. Great in a bind but I will always prefer Coloplast products.

Convenient but need to be bigger
Great bags. Convenient but could be bigger. Would like for there to be an option for 750ml or even 1000ml

T4 Paraplegic Using This System! Five Stars!
I'm a T4 paraplegic and have an SP cath. This system just makes sense and I wish I'd seen it sooner! Having the small bag on 24-7 is not a new idea, but the bag has a tiny tube at the spout where you drain the bag. This allows for the 2L bag to be connected to the top leg bag (leaving the spout open) rather than the cath. The urine drains through the leg bag and into the large bag at night.Less opportunity to get bacteria in the cath the better. Less opportunity to have UTI causing bacteria enter the bladder! The contents of the box include a hanger for the night bag, adhesive catheter clamp to keep it secure, four small 500mL leg bags, 28 large 2L night bags, instructions on procedure, elastic leg bands for securing it to your leg if desired! All of the items are of high quality. All you have to choose is whether you want a longer leg bag tubing or very little. It's worth the money! Some accessories can be purchased along with this set, but they are in separate listings. Just go to the ugo brand store to see the options available to you! :)
