while i have yet to get to try 4 players with this game, I believe you can go pass that player limit. each deck comes with different power cards and funkos. I've seen people mix up to 3 decks together online in videos. I'm sure it would take longer to collect the cards required to score but all that would probably increase the enjoyment of the game for everyone.
