6 Pack - Private Reserve Ink Schmidt 888 Rollerball Refill Black Medium Tip

A contractor at one of my jobs gave me two freebie pens, but they were actually really nice and all metal construction! Once the ink ran out, these replacements are the ones I found that fit. They write fantastically, just like the original ink. Everyone that I let borrow my pens threatens to steal them because they love the way they write. These are very nice refills and will purchase again as needed.

Works well for the price. This size of rollerball refill has become difficult to find so Schmit is one of the very few brands left. Some other refills that are sold are not quite long enough for the pen.These Schmidt refills write smoothly but do not seem to last as long as the high-priced original cartridges. The lower price allows you to buy 3 of these for 1 of the original refills. That results in a lower cost per use so it can be a good tradeoff - but bring a spare if you are on a long trip.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it took an extremely long time for delivery, 4weeks!!!!!!!! Way to long to wait for delivery and when I got them and was going to try them on the pen I bought these for they didnt even fit!!!! I was very dissapointed but to my surprise they fit another pen I really like to use. So now I am using them for this other pen. I would like to buy more but I do not want to wait 4 weeks

I bought a 6 pack of these ink refills in black. Buyer beware...THEY DRY OUT WITHIN DAYS! I keep them in my pencil cup with the tip down and put the cap on my pen. These are a complete waste! I never normally write negative reviews but it is completely frustrating to put a refill in each of my 2 nice pens, only to render them unusable in no time at all :-(

These refills are good quality that fit pens that use Schmidt. They write smooth and meet what is listed. I would prefer a finer point, but haven't found those. I have also looked for another brand "Hauser" 777 but have found they went out of business and these are listed as a replacement. I tried them and they are slightly wider and don't fit that pen. If you have a pen that uses Schmidt, these should work, but they may not fit a pen that takes the Hauser brand.

Writes a little too scratchy for a rollerball. Ink flow is a little on the watery side. Decent color, dries fast, but the ball feels out of round or not milled with much precision. Piolt, Pentel. and Papermate are better choices.

Better price than the Faber-Castell refills I was getting for a rollerball pen (Porche design). Got the 6 for about the same price as one of the others. Size is either the same, or close enough to not matter. Best part is I saved a good amount of $$ by getting these... I will be buying more in the future when I need them.

These were the exact refills needed for a beautiful pen I received as a gift. When the original ink supply was used up I had a tough finding refills anywhere until I looked on Amazon, of course. I should be set for life with six refills. Ink flows well and makes writing a pleasant experience.
