Fantastic bulb that dims well.
I bought this bulb as I recently had a trailing edge dimmer switch fitted in the dinning room and the last bulb wasn’t compatible with dimmer switches. At first I tried an incandescent bulb with the dimmer and thought that it could dim down lower although I can program my dimmer switch and am happy with the minimum brightness. This bulb doesn’t look cheap at all and actually looks really good when it’s on show I love the design and actually prefer it to the filament one, I really do hope that Philips don’t stop this design. We have the same bulb in our kitchen and it’s been there since May 2016 and it still works well, it was actually an ex display one that was used in a light fitting so obviously used a lot. This bulb isn’t cheap but is totally worth it and works very well with the Varilight V Pro dimmer switches, when dimmed down the colour temperature gets warmer and makes our dining room very relaxing. All in all I would strongly recommend this bulb and would say it’s totally worth the price, there are many cheaper bulbs that don’t have this colour temperature and that buzz or don’t dim well.

Philips dimmable light bulb
Product arrived on time. I went with this one as the reviews were so good but unfortunately I must be unlucky as I can only keep this dimmed low as it flickers a lot when I turn it up, had the dimmer switch checked incase there was a fault but that was fine. Don’t want to risk buying another at that price incase it does the same.

Stopped working after about a week
It worked perfectly at first, but after some use it refused to come on. This is the second one of these dim-tone bulbs I have purchased. Both have failed. It's a beautiful bulb, but does not seem to be reliable. Can I get my money back?

Decent lamp but not that bright
This was the biggest wattage dimmable lamp I could find that actually works with a dimmer switch effectively!! I'm not sure why you can't buy an equalivent that is100w but this lamp really does dim well but only 60w

Expesive but good quality
Works well with my 'leading edge' dimmer switch.Given *** for longevity has cannot comment as only installed for less than a month.

Good light bulb
It's a good light bulb albeit a bit expensive! I bought it because it's a Philips bulb and should last. Actually, it is quite a warm rather than harsh light and bright enough for a small bedroom.

No coil whine or buzzing. Also really nice distribution of light with a halo
Better than the cheaper Philips core pro ones as those buzzed like crazy, had to return them.

Warm colour bulb, direct swap for standard 60W bulb
Great replacement for a standard 60W warm bulb. Same light warm colour, I’ve replaced all my room & corridor bulbs with these. 60W energy reduced down to 13W, that’s 75% reduction in power consumed for the same amount of light. I’ve tried other bulbs but these are just great
