Good quality and very informative. This book is part of my required reading for my class. The book came on time.

covers all of the basic philosophers and interprets them fairly accurately with a good deal of value added information.

I first read the book in POLSC 201: Intro to Political Theory. I found the book to be well written and easy to understand. I kept the book after the course was over and have since referred back to this book for many other classes. I recommend this book to all Liberal Arts and Social Science majors.

I bought this book for a Political Philosophy class in college. Although I did not like this class, this book has a lot of good information on modern/classical philosophers. It does involve a lot of reading. I would recommend this book to anyone! Fast & accurate shipping and the book was as described when purchased.

When I ordered this text I was under the impression that I was purchasing a new text - not used. The book was obviously used, NOT new, because it had wear from having been read previously and has many sticky-notes throughout it to mark where the previous reader wanted to remember some part of the text.

It is very nice book to get a conceptual framework in your mind..although it is tiresome to read this book ..but trust me once u understand the topic you will never forget it your whole life ,believe me this book is that good.But you need to supplement your answers with coaching notes or other books like SUBRATA MUKHERJEE or O P GAUBA..

Its a good book with in depth theory..if you make notes out of this one..can be very beneficial in upsc mains.
