I bought this bottle in the hopes that I would drink more water. I have only had it for a few days, but so far, so good. The mouth of the bottle is wide enough that you can add ice to it. The ice will melt fairly quickly though, so if you want it to stay really cold, you would have to add a lot of ice and let it melt throughout the day. Also, once you add the water (and ice) the bottle might be a bit heavy for those of you who have problems with your hands/wrists. The mouth of the bottle is so big that if you tried to drink directly from it you might get more on you than in you - if you're as accident prone as I am. I pour water into my cute porcelain cup throughout the day, but keep the bottle next to me as a reminder to drink. You might have to make mental note of when you started drinking if you want to keep a time tab. It starts at 7 AM and I am in deep sleep at that time. I just drink the whole bottle throughout the day, so I don't pay attention to the time reference on the bottle. I have received many compliments on it. Having the bottle has helped me with drinking lots of water and not adding the flavorings to my water (like Crystal Light). Also I have cut down tremendously on diet soda too. I think I might try adding lime to the water. I don't know why I haven't yet. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to drink more water, that needs a constant reminder. All you need is that visual. It feels good to see an empty bottle by the end of the day.

I would have given it more stars had it but been falsely advertised as BPA free. This product is made with #7 plastic, which should be avoided for consumption with food or water.

Great bottle but I'm giving it 1 star for the false statements. It's made of plastic 7, which contains BPA. They also provide a card in the bottle stating that if you leave a 5 star review they'll refund your purchase. Kind of dishonest if you ask me.

I have studied water for over 40 years and been distilling all the water I and my family drink.This bottle It is sturdy, leak proof and well balanced whether full or with less water in it. Solid throughout. I have keep up my water consumption since purchasing this very handy bottle and each of our family keeps an eye on each other to encourage healthy consumption. Great quality! (Read till the end for story time.) This bottle is everything I hoped it would be & more. The top unscrews for easy cleaning & filling, I love that it flips open vs a sports top because that’s much easier to clean as well. I also love the little pop of blue color. It’s very easy to hold & carry. It has a nice thick handle on the side as well as a thick removable strap attached to the lid. I do wish the measurement lines went all the way up to the gallon mark, it stops counting at 100oz, but it works just as well. Fill it almost all the way to the top & there’s your gallon. My favorite thing about this bottle is the quality in general. The plastic is nice & thick. I didn’t even realize how great the quality is until I dropped it! I dropped it on pavement, completely full, so it was really heavy. I expected the whole thing to crack right open as soon as it hit, but it didn’t! It scuffed quite a bit, but that’s it! I’m very impressed. I would absolutely but this again & highly recommend!

I bought this because my wife told me that Beyonce drinks a gallon of water a day. So being the couple that we are we challenged each other to drink a gallon a water a day to see if there were any results and if we could do it to stay healthy. I do believe I drink close to a gallon a day anyways so the bottle is a win win. Secondary use for the bottle will be to keep water for my dog. Some unofficial dog parks I have been to don't have a lot of water options for the dogs and my dog is a drinker. I plan to use this gallon container to easily pour cold water for him and other dogs in the warmer weather. I think this bottle will hold up its made of a sturdy construction and didn't have any bad plastic smells or anything like that. The seal under the cap was strong and easy to clean. I like the lanyard option as well and it comes off easily too. For my family and household this gallon will be used quite a bit and is a win win for humans and dogs.

I got this bc, like most people, I struggle to drink enough water. I can drink a gallon of coke easy, but with water it's a struggle to get 12oz. This bottle is pretty big and is not the easiest thing to pick up and chug from. I would say it's not as wide as a gallon of milk, but it is a few inches taller. I like to fill it up each day, so I have a frame of reference and can try to get through each line by the alloted time. It's a well made bottle, and I like the little strap that hangs from the lid. It makes a convenient carrying handle. I would not say it's easy to clean unless you have a bottle scrubber. The opening isn't wide enough for a human hand. Of course, if it was that wide then water would spill out everywhere. So far I haven't had any issues with leaking when the lid is closed. Overall, I recommend this bottle.

This is a must have!! I never drink enough water in a full day!! Now I don’t have to worry about going back and forth to the kitchen to get multiple bottles of water!! I can just fill this Gallon Water Bottle up in the mornings and I’m set for the rest of the day!! The easy grip handle is a great addition!! And, I love the positive messages it has in the bottle!! You can drink down to levels at different times of the day!! And You’re set!! I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family!! And this would make a great gift as well!! It’s been a few months and I’m still liking my water bottle!! I never have to worry about having enough to drink!! I even infused my water with Fruit!! Delicious!!
