I got what I wanted and the canvas, paints and easel are ideal for the small project. Money well spent.

I've gotten into doing tiny art lately and this kit seemed perfect to get me started. To be honest I was expecting the paints to be on the weaker end given how affordable the kit is, but so far I am VERY impressed with how vibrant they are. The white has a bit of a gloss to it when it dries, but it covers well unlike the acrylics I've used in the past. And the darker colors don't seem to "sink" like what I've come to expect with paint, either.I haven't used all of my colors yet but so far I haven't found any dry tubes as some folks have mentioned. The canvases are panel style, so no worries about anything bleeding through, and plenty of room to name and date on the back.All around this is a great kit.UPDATE: was in the mood to paint again so I pulled these paints out. I soon noticed that the caps for all the colors I'd previously used were cracked, and in the same exact location. They must be EXTREMELY sensitive to "over tightening". Taking off a star for the faulty caps as this could easily result in a lot of the paint going to waste because it dries out in the tube.

Would definitely purchase again for an event

This was a really cute set and the family had a lot of fun with this at a teen's birthday party. I did buy more paints and brushes so that it wasn't too difficult to share amongst everyone and there was more variety. It was simple to set up and kids had a blast. It can be kind of messy so just make sure you are doing the activity on a surface you don't mind getting paint on.

I used it to paint. Paint burned my eyes and made me queasy. Not sure why it affected me adversely. I may be allergic to this particular brand.
