Fit my Western Field Model 740-A EMN perfect!!! Exact match made mounting my modern scope much easier allowing for about 2 inches of extra scope positioning. I mounted a 3-9x40 Simmons scope on my 30-30 looks and feels great. So glad I made this purchase, worth every penny. Would definitely purchase this item again. Thanks! Mounts work equally as well on the Marlin 336 30-30 but I thought it may be more helpful to address the specialty application to others looking at the same product.

Decent quality. Actually wish were steel but aluminum works fine for this mounting purpose.
