I have never used one of these before. I was watching a YouTube video where one was being used. WOW! What a difference it makes to my pressing. Never knew there was such a great product. It is one of the greatest pieces of equipment in my sewing room. I also like the fact that you can purchase it in variable sizes.

My wife ordered this so she can have something small and handy in her craft room without have to break out the ironing board. She has used it for making a quilt and it performed well. It is thick enough that the heat doesn't go through to the table she has it on. It has a uniform thickness so the seams are even when she uses it. She ordered it without noticing that it came with the silicon pad for the iron so she was excited that it was included. She likes the extra safety of the silicon pad. I cannot think of any negatives at this point and can't make claims to the longevity of it. (Although I have no reason to believe it won't be fine.) I will update if she complains or I notice anything.

Ironing mat is thick and doesn't take up a lot of space. However, when doing heavy steaming, the bottom of the mat does get moist so it's important to move it so the surface underneath can dry.

This mat is not 100% wool. It scorched almost immediately when I started using it.

Love this mat! I make a lot of small items so I was able to ditch the big bulky ironing board for this. I love how I can pin the fabric right to the mat to hold it down for ironing . Seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made for my craft room. Quality is amazing.

This mat is great for sewing and ironing piecework blocks. It works as it says it does not stretching fabric but making each block stay put after ironing. Highly recommend it for quilters or anyone who does a lot of sewing. 5 Stars!

It has made such a difference to my quilting projects, and it fits perfectly on my new large ironing board.
