Will the adhesive damage our stained wood door when it is removed?

No, it shouldn't cause any damages. It's really not a strong adhesive. I've had mine on for a few months, and decided to switch it to the back door, and it came off easily. No residue was left behind, and nothing was damaged.

Would this work for French Doors?

I would advise you not to purchase it. Mine only lasted about two week before my dog who weighs around 25 lbs, had it all torn up. Complete waste of money!

Would this work on a screen door?

Hi Lauren, I don't believe it will work on a screen door, it works great on wood doors though.

My piece arrived with no adhesive, just a green film on one side. How is this supposed to be mounted. It says it should be mounted without hardware...
