The media could not be loaded.  Bought for my son’s school to have as he suffers sudden asthma attacks and previously hospitalized many times. My peace of mind is important.A cheaper option by another brand (though reputed to be approved by reputable medical institutions) was returned and I just bought the minimum purchase of 2 for a great deal.Video shows my original purchase on my middle finger bought nearly two years ago (and checked against hospital monitor in children’s ward) and the two newer devices. Obviously depends on which finger for fluctuations so tried them on all fingers.Well I’m totally happy to give to the school now a device that is accurate by my own standards and not someone else’s.Invaluable to asthma sufferers and their carers.Reviews were quite difficult to judge so I hope this helps others.I haven’t tried the app and no intention of it either, I need a reliable reading fast without complication when I need to use this.Minimum purchase of 2 for £11, great value for Medisana product and you can never have too many if you’re a sufferer.

Accurate machine and good building quality. I’ve checked it with Salter built oximeter - works like Swiss watch. It helped picking up heart issues with my mum and myself post Covid.

The device itself works OK and one hopes it's accurate. You really can't tell unless you get it calibrated which is not really practicable for most folks. But the manual with it says it's tested to +- a few percentage points so who knows. Best to try it when you're well to establish your own baseline and then you can at least track changes from that baseline.It works quickly and appears consistent on different fingers. All good so far.What is not so good is the accompanying app, which if you install it is I think, quite intrusive in having to set up an account and the permissions it demands. Plus where is it that your private medical data being stored and by whom? I knew this before buying so wasn't concerned about missing the Bluetooth function, but if you are hoping to use the remote functions you should consider this aspect before buying.Personally if you want to track results, I think you are just better of noting them down after each reading in your own little notebook rather than sending them off to someone you know not. You won't be able to use the Bluetooth function, but your privacy is not infringed.

Works really well and very easy to use.

Readings for pulse and oxygen levels are simple to take and are consistent. I would assume it is accurate as normal oxygen levels vary between 97 and 100. Can toggle between different functions (snap-shot and average). Dont really understand need for bluetooth as oxygen levels are either ok or they are not.

The media could not be loaded.  I think its accurate, when it actually works, at least it shows the same pulse as my watch (which I really trust). The problem is it sometimes takes 30-60 seconds to get the readings or might not do anything at all. When it works, it works on my little girl finger too. I haven't used the bluetooth function and I'm not planning to so I cannot comment on that. It doesn't say anywhere that it was made in China but it doesn't also say clearly if it was made in Germany either.

Well made product easy to use

Happy with this purchase, it is accurate (compared with GP unit) and good value for money. It has Bluetooth allowing you to transfer a reading to a phone app, but if your reading is below 96% then you should have other things on your mind, i.e. breathing, so I'm not sure how useful this is.Screen rotation modes haven't really been thought through, but fortunately the default one is fine.
