Great old hardware
Needed a burner for boot disks and photo sharing. My old drive refused to work. This one was shipped fast, installed without a problem, and worked like a champ. Was even very quiet for a cd rom burner. The included software refused to install but I have better software of my own. Great purchase. Very happy.

The best DVD player EVER!
It was a great burner burns super fast, it was easy to setup, and its not loud, it was missing the power cable and software, witch is a let down, I needed it because for some reason I wanted windows office 2000 premium and it installed well, if your looking to buy this for your pc, buy it.

Hardware is excellent but no sound when using Nero Essentials 12
5 stars for the Lite-On Super AllWrite IHAS124-04, it is excellent with VLC, Media Player and burning software. Not so much with the included Nero 12 essentials as the graphics are fine but there is no sound. It's for this reason I will not register the product with Nero. The price was quite reasonable and I'm very happy with the unit.
