Good stuff, but strange after a lifetime of using foamy white stuff
We'd been looking for a healthier toothpaste, and for a while were using a Rembrandt flavor that didn't have any sodium laurel/laureth sulfate, but it was still pretty chemical-y. We turned to Amazon and found Earthpaste, and it's great stuff.First and foremost, the ingredients are all relatively benign. There is a quite scarifying lead warning on the package, but the company has an explanation of that on their site - it's only related to some cumbersome California product labeling and is there to preclude any bounty-hunting lawsuits. Feel free to do your own research, but to me that warning is a non-issue.I'm liking the job this stuff does, although it is different to use. First of all, and this is going to sound graphic, but it's basically the color and consistency of fish poop - mushy brown. It's based on clay, so that makes sense. The clay provides abrasive effects, and also feels interesting in the mouth. The lack of foaming agents means that your mouth doesn't fill up with foam, so the technique I've developed is to put the toothpaste on the brush, then immediately spread it all around all the surfaces of my teeth quickly, so that each quadrant of my mouth has toothpaste on it from the beginning. Then as I brush from section to section I don't 'run out' of toothpaste. With previous foaming pastes this wasn't an issue because the foam filled up my mouth and I'd have to spit out the overflow just to keep going.I've seen reviews saying that this stuff turned their teeth brown, which I find difficult to believe, unless their teeth were already having problems or something.Bottom line is we love this stuff and don't see ourselves going back to traditional toothpaste.

Excellent and No Additives!
I disllike toothpaste with additives and short of baking soda this is the best I have found. Guess what? After years of use no cavities. This is just my opinion but I like thngs to be as chemical free as possible and this is it for toothpaste. All the flavors are great and with my Spin Brush and Water Flosser my teeth are great and I am an old lady. So for all you purists this my be a possible answer. I love it.

Tastes and works like regular paste but it's natural. What's not to like?
The taste and texture of this toothpaste is just like any other except no foaming (no bad sls like regular stuff. It makes you want to use a lot but you dont need to. I've opened the wintergreen and the taste is just like a standard paste. My teeth feel clean. It's only 30 more cents a tube than my normal brand which is Sensodyne so for a little extra change you can make a big change in the amount of chemicals in your body and being flushed into the ecosystem. I'm sold.

Nice Fluoride Free Alternative
This toothpaste is clay based, with a mild neutral flavor, so if you want that breath freshening taste after brushing your teeth, you may want to add a mouth rinse. I don't taste the flavor after the first couple of times using it. It cleans great without leaving a gritty feeling. All three flavors are a light tan color, and need a bit of a rinse in the sink. Little blobs don't easily slide down the drain, and on a white sink develop a tan film. Also, over time, dried toothpaste collects in the cap and crumbs of it fall out of the lid when applying to the toothbrush, so I always apply over the sink. One frustration I have is the tube itself. It's a stiff plastic and it fills up with air as the toothpaste gets used. When you are almost out, sometimes it sprays when an air pocket hits the opening and blobs of toothpaste blobs of toothpaste go flying all over the counter, mirror and sink. Despite the minor issues, I like it and will order it again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this toothpaste!
My husband and are were searching for a natural tooth paste product for our family and we came across this product at our local Whole Foods. We bought one tube and fell in love instantly! After just a few days of use, all of our mouths felt better, and my 11 year old daughter's teeth looked the best they ever have. She has fluorodosis and this is the first toothpaste that I have seen that has made her teeth appear brighter and have a more even appearance. She even loves the taste! My husband and I both feel like our mouths are cleaner and we don't have dry mouth when we wake up anymore. I have a permanent retainer behind my bottom teeth and over time I tend to get plaque build up even with flossing and brushing multiple times a day. After using this toothpaste, I feel like the plaque is even developing much much slower and has been easier to manage between dentist visits. So, after our first tube was gone we jumped on Amazon and bought the three pack as it was a better price per tube and we wanted to try the different flavors. So far we are happy with every flavor we have tried and its been quite a few months now since we started using this toothpaste and we have no plans to stop anytime soon! I highly recommend this toothpaste to anyone who is looking for an affordable, healthy, natural alternative toothpaste.

Great Product
Love this toothpaste and amazon has it cheaper than local stores. No foamy sulfates which may be weird at first if you are transitioning from normal paste. These are healthy for the body and the planet. Recyclable. My favorite is the wintergreen since it is sweet and minty. Lemon to me tastes like brushing your teeeth with lucky charms. But my 8 yo loves the lemon, my teen loves cinnamon and peppermint, and we are all happy with this set. My biological dentist sells this and highly recommends it for natural patients and detoxing.

Toothpaste
My tooth was very sensitive to the toothpaste, so I didn’t use it as much to each his own. I don’t think I would recommend it for others.
