I used it to mount a Garmin GPS and so far it's held in place with no issues, fair price and all mounting hardware was included.

Recently, I purchased a battery case for my phone and it makes the phone too thick for most cell phone mounts AND the battery case is curved which is harder for a mount to hold the cell phone securely AND I'm using this on my motorcycle so failure is not an option.ONLY problem and complaint and why I deducted one star is Step #2 in the instructions should tell you to press the mounting plate with enough force until you hear a click. The first time I failed to do that the mount fell off 5 days later. I returned and got a replacement and was planning on using epoxy glue to prevent a re-occurrence and for some reason I pushed a lot harder and heard a click and it was rock solid - no glue needed.Also, the mfg should even consider putting a sticker saying push until click. Before mounting it I gave it the shake test to see if my cell phone would fall out - think mountain bike on a bumpy trail - very sold though for hardcore riding over very rough surfaces or jumps you might want to test with an old phone.***** NOTE: the base of the mount is from a different vendor as the included base is meant to mount to a flat surface with screws. Also, the double ball is a must for bicycles and motorcycles to mount on handlebars. ******

With a screw mounted base, perfect for my boat to hold my iPhone for navigation program. It’s comes with two sets of “leg” holders, and the larger ones fit my iPhone 8S very nicely. I had a stupid question and couldn’t have been more pleased with the help from the customer service department. Definitely recommend.

got this to hard mount in my car. installed in a scion xb on the shifter bezel with screws (screws not included which was annoying) has two axis of movement to get your angle just right. Fits a Google Pixel 4a phone and a Moto Z4 just fine.it has enough stretch for a Pixel 6 in a case (6.5 inches +/- )comes with many holder fingers if you wanted more of a grip i suppose

The product itself appears to be sturdy and well built, however, this particular model did not fit my phone's. For those of you who have a LG Thin Q V60 or an iPhone 8 Plus, look somewhere else. It will not fit these phones. I will be returning these and I hope ARKON has a mount that will fit these phones.

Terrific and sturdy design. Holds my phone firmly on my boat in rough conditions. Easy to put phone into this mount with 1 hand.Very happy with this product and highly recommended.Keep in mind it must be screwed down and holes pre-drilled in my case, but well worth it.Great solution for navigation app on my phone.

for the price it's a pretty good mount, however the spring is way too stiff to put your phone in easilyI ended up swapping out the spring with something less stiff and it's now perfect. Using a ZFold3

I've had this phone holder now for a few months and so far it has done its job very well. Its sturdy and allows for placement where you need it. I have this installed on the side of my centre console by the shifter. So it sits pretty much in the ideal location for me in my 2014 Ford F150. I used heavy duty double sided tape from Home Depot instead of screwing it into the console. This way I can move it in the future if I need to. I doesn't come with screws so make sure you decide where you want to put this before buying screws so you can get the proper screws.

Wish the arm nuts would Tighten up abit more.But it does the job

I installed this on the panel of my aircraft to hold an iPad Mini. It works well enough -- EXCEPT within a few weeks one of the four corner posts holding the iPad broke off. There may have been an extra unit in the package, but if there was, of course I can't find it now. IF another arm breaks before I can find a replacement, I may have to resort to a self-repair of some sort or try velcro... meh...On the good side, the unit is otherwise sturdy enough and adjusts easily to position the iPad where I need it.
