Can't live without it !!!
Absolutely THE best product at THE absolutely most affordable price. Good stuff - it doesn't need to be the best, just good enough .. and this is good enough. That makes it perfect. Other companies just charge way too much. Like it's made of gold or something. It's brake fluid, formulated for motorcycles .. not space ships .. Why other companies charge so much is beyond me. This is the go-to for normal folks ๐

Same specifications as much more costly brands
Brake fluid costs range broadly depending on the brand so I looked at the specifications to see if there were differences in the components. Two values frequently shown on the label for DOT 4 is Wet Boiling temp and Dry Boiling temp. The two values describe how hot the fluid can get before boiling and becoming useless. This brand offered very decent temp ranges, but what I found interesting is that brands like AC Delco selling for $12 more did not offer these values on the label nor did several other more expensive brands. Moisture degrades brake fluid so I tested this out of the unopened bottle and it showed no moisture at all. The cost of this was $7.69 well below half the cost of most of the other brands offered. After putting on over 1,000 miles since changing the fluid I'm satisfied with the performance all around. We've had weeks of hot weather with daily temps well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the brake fluid remained unaffected. I'll be purchasing more of this in the near future. An important note is that once the container seal is opened moisture will have access from the ambient air. It is best to throw out unused remaining product if you do not anticipate using it relatively soon. And then I recommend using a moisture sensor prior to using to ensure the integrity of the product. At this low price it is simply easier to buy a new bottle rather than risk using a small portion of potentially contaminated fluid.

toss it out
Once opened after a maybe 6 months, toss it out. It's hydrophobic or absorbs water out of the air in the bottle once opened. People will tell you it doesn't matter but I'm telling you it's your brake system. So it may not seem to do any damage but your brake seals are going to be damaged by that moisture shortening their life. A bottle of fresh fluid or a brake Job. which is cheaper?
