Overpriced
It’s way too small for the $$$. Also, site photos show moon in the top corner. No moon anywhere. The sand scene itself is very good.

Make sure the end pieces are in good condition
We enjoyed our first exotic sands sculpture for years. Ordered this second one, arrived quickly, but unfortunately the two wooden side pieces that support the picture frame and allow it to swivel are sub-par.One side frame has a big knot in the wood with a crack running through the center, almost as big as the entire side piece width. The other side frame has a knot in the wood right where the hole is (the supports the wooden dowel/swivel. This knot is crack through to the end of the side frame.This item is the kind of piece that would not be purchased at a store, but would be passed over by the consumer who is looking for an undamaged item. It is definitely a "back of the shelf" sculpture, not worthy of $90. I don't know how it slipped by any quality control effort.

Could be more Exotic
Got this for my Mom for her birthday. She LOVES it!!! I personally wished that the sand fell slower and the frame was built and finished better. Every time you flip it, the whole event is over in about 2 minutes. I wish it was a 10 minute thing, but I guess it's fine. Everyone at my Mom's party liked the wood frame, but I thought it needed finishing. Edges weren't flush and a gloss or semi-gloss poly finish would have been nice. Guess that could be done later by the new caretaker

well made, nice gift
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this, but I did. I can honestly say it has a very well made frame. I brought it to work and everyone comes in and has to flip it and comment on the beautiful picture it is developing. It arrived well packaged. Nice conversation piece. Face it, we all need a little distraction at work. This fits that bill. we are all enjoying this at work.
