Bought this for trimming flashing off line set pipes prior to flaring. Works great

Bought these because my red pencil ones got stolen. These are easy to use, the blades last long, easy to change the blades, stand out in the tool bag, & great grip.

Fist the negatives:My big complaint, I hate, hate, hate, hate that the blade just flops around. You have zero control. This means you can't get an accurate starting point. It also means aligning to make a matching opposite track which is rarely accurate.The Blades aren't super sturdy and have bent on some tough trims.Maybe it's just me, but it's tough to use left handed. Right handed worked fine. But I got around that problem.The positives:The size is perfect for me. A lot of the competing trimmers are really fat. I think that is because you could store the blades in the body, which you can't do with this, but that's not a feature I care about.The weight is perfect. Even for a cheep Chinese trimmer, this has a good solid feel. It makes it easier to control and I'm confident enough in it that I put some more pressure when trimming.

The tool certainly wasn't invented for 3d printing, but lately, it has definitely been welcomed into the 3d printing community's list of frequently used tools.This thing is great for cleaning up brims, or any elephant foot on your 3d print. The swivel is a bit odd to get used to at first, but with a little practice and even pressure, it becomes a cinch.definitely one of the better tools to have around for 3d printing.

This has a GREAT feel!! Works AWESOME for copper, plastic and cold/hot rolled steel (haven't tried it on other metals yet, it isa made of HSS, so I am sure it'll work great!)VERY VERY solid product!!I was VERY pleasantly surprised just how GOOD this thing is!! Before you go spend a bunch of money on one, give this a try (honestly, its probably better!)It definitely goes WAY BEYOND just being 'a good deal. Also, all the replacement tips it comes with are essentially identical.. Saw no obvious flaws or deviations between them!!HIGHLY recommend!!
