Fantastic cookbook!
This wonderful cookbook made me feel like I spent my summer in Spain taking cooking classes. The recipes are straightforward and absolutely delicious, and the "Spanish Food 101" section makes it easy to stock your kitchen with "must have" and "nice to have" ingredients. At a time when it's been hard to travel due to the pandemic I especially appreciate being able to bring a little bit of Spain into my and my family's lives. I plan to give copies to several friends as holiday gifts this year. Highly recommend this fabulous collection of recipes!

Feeding my nostalgia for Spain and it's glorious food.
This cookbook has brought Spain to me. After many visits and even a short stint living there, I still find myself yearning for the culture and salivating over memories of succulent roast baby lamb, squid ink black rice, croquetas gazpacho, and more. The problem is that these delectable dishes have always seemed beyond my culinary skill set or at least requiring precious time I had little to spare. Until now. Easy Spanish Cookbook lives up to its word. In no time, I whipped up a killer Tortilla Espanola for my family who now begs daily for more.

Love the wine pairing suggestions!
The media could not be loaded. Just received my copy of the book and cooked the first recipe, Bay Scallops Pie - Delicious! I fell in love with Spanish cuisine when traveled to Barcelona. Recipes in the book are easy to follow, also the wine pairings suggestions and notes on Spanish culinary regions are pretty cool!

Go to book for Spanish favorites
This is the perfect book to experience Spanish Cuisine at home, it’s like a culinary tour of Spain without the travel expenses. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to try the recipe on the next page. (I started with the postres.)

Spain is back in my kitchen!
After living in the US for many years I had forgotten all the great dishes that I can make and bring back flavors from home, Spain. And the best of all, they are well explained and are easy to do.

Interesting Recipes, Serious Lack of Photos, Most Recipes Can be Cooked Within 1.5 Hours
The Easy Spanish Cookbook is a interesting cookbook for those who are new to Spanish cuisine. The recipe book is comprised of a variety of Spanish recipes that can be cooked within an hour and a half. The recipes don't rely on canned or precooked foods, nor does it utilize convenience foods or sauces. There are a couple of recipes that call for canned/boxed broths or canned tomatoes, but that's about as far as premade food as it goes. The recipes were easy to follow and were eight or less steps. They were easy enough for me to navigate through, although there were very few photos of completed recipes, which I found frustrating because I am not very versed in Spanish cooking. The chapter are broken up into the following:Chapter 1: Spanish Food 101Chapter 2: Tapas, Pintxos, and Other Side dishesChapter 3: Sides, Salads, and SaucesChapter 4: Soups, Stews, and CocidosChapter 5: Rice and PastaChapter 6: Meats and SeafoodChapter 7: Desserts and DrinksBoth of the recipes that I tried (Cordero Asado and the Tortilla Espanola) came out quite well. Like all recipes, you can adjust sodium and spice levels as needed as the seasoning is not hard set, and they came out as expected. I don't have a huge amount of experience with cooking Spanish Food so I'm not sure how authentic everything is, but most recipes seem on point from an inexperienced standpoint. One thing I will note, there seems to be a lot of potato in Spanish cooking! Each recipe comes with a wine pairing as well as a couple of tips to make the recipe more authentic or traditional. For those who have not cooked Spanish cooking before, the first chapter is dedicated to describing the equipment, ingredients, and regional wines in deeper detail. This chapter was helpful as there's a lot about Spanish Food I didn't know about. Overall, this is a good beginner's recipe book to Spanish cooking, and a it's a book I plan to cook out of more in this coming year.

Mislead by previous reviews
Got book on strength of previous reviews so disappointed the recipes aren’t up to much no pictures as such and measurements in American scale and to top it all 1 page tells how to make a Mediterranean shandy which needs beer lemonade and zest of a lemon must of scraped the barrel for that recipe

Ni una foto !!! 😕
Hola. Poco atractivo.Lo he devuelto. No me gustaría para mí, mucho menos para un regalo
