I took the board from the old fob and put it in the new case. Didn’t need to program the new board.

This fob worked exactly as my original factory fob and programmed to the truck easily.

Exactly as described. The is OEM. Bought a doorman knockoff originally and the painted locks began to fade within a day. This fob is $50+ From GM. I simply used only the case and swapped the chip inside. Very easy to swap and works great. Even comes with a new battery. If need the fob can be programmed to your truck. When this is done, all your fobs must be present. Dealers are able to program, or you can find a YouTube video instead

I just picked up a 2015 Chevy Silverado and it only had one functional remote. I ordered two and got them for $40.00 plus tax. I checked the auto parts and dealer an they were extremely higher. After getting them I had to go to a lock smith that programs the remotes and was able to get three, the original and the two I purchased, programmed for $60.00. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product to anyone.

Purchase two of these after finding out how much it would cost at the dealer. One dealer wanted to charge $65 per fob how to program. The other dealership only charged $50 for both. Product works great no issues. Just check around for the better deal with programming.
