Lightweight, Durable, Highly Readable -- A Great Watch
Easy to read, lightweight titanium body, with a comfortable and durable soft rubber band. I bought this for my wife who works in a restaurant kitchen and needed a durable watch that is waterproof and easy to read so that she doesn't have to put on her glasses to check the time. This watch fits the bill. It has a large face, but is very comfortable on the wrist due to its light weight. I do have a couple of minor gripes. Numbers should have been placed at the 6 and 9 o'clock position, and maybe 12 as well to make it even more readable. Some of the other St. Moritz watches are designed that way. Also, the sweep second hand is a bit annoying because the tail end has a large luminous sphere -- totally unnecessary and distracting when the tail sweeps around near the hour hand -- its nearly as long and wide as the hour hand. This is the second St. Moritz watch I've purchased. I own the AeroMax and I'm pleased with both of these watches. They are a great value and are good looking watches.

Best watch I have ever owned
For the last 20 years, I have exclusively purchased Seiko watches. I liked the looks of this watch and purchased it. It keeps precise time. The crystal looks perfect after 4+ years. The watch is easy to read.

Good sturdy accurate readable watch.
I can report that this watch keeps accurate time. I have waited 2 weeks to post so I could confidently state this. It is light weight and seems to be pretty rugged. Oddly, here was a vanilla odor (not unpleasant) coming off the band also which has finally just subsided. It is not too big and not too small. This watch is easy to read and the numbers and hands glow at night if they get enough light in the day time. Not sure how long the glowing lasts into the night.

Pretty - Worthless Warranty Work - But Redeemable and I'm Glad I Did Not Give Up!
This is a beautiful watch. It is the most expensive watch I've ever had ($184.95). I love the watch band.So that's the good stuff. It arrived May 18 and was working perfectly. I was thrilled with it and treated it like I was afraid something might happen to it. I took it off to work in the yard. I took it off for showers. I loved looking at the "sapphire" crystal. What a cool watch! By mid-August the second hand quit working if I looked at the time in bed or on the couch.I called Momentum service and reported the problem. They instructed me to fill out a form and send it to IWSC, their designated repair facility in Utah, and to provide details and state this was a warranty repair. I had to pay shipping and insurance to get it there. It arrived at IWSC August 18. After some time I was informed there was a balance due to repair my watch. They had to reattach the hand, replace the battery and the seal (on a 3 month old watch?), and test it. After several emails, the Service Manager informed me that reattaching hands was not covered under warranty. After asking for a copy of the contract IWSC has with Momentum to do warranty repairs to see in writing if Momentum did not cover this, and asking nicely if IWSC could deal with Momentum, I was told I had to do that. After promising legal action if I did not at least get some proof IWSC was not required to repair this watch under warranty, they told me they called Momentum and got a "courtesy authorization" to fix the watch, and told me that no one at Momentum remembers talking to me or telling me to send this in as a warranty repair. So IWSC fixed it and charged me return shipping. They sent it back September 18 and the second hand was working again. Yeah!By October 4 the watch stopped. I reset it and it ran for a day and stopped. Apparently, when all 3 hands line up, sometimes it hangs up. This has happened twice now.So the moral of this story is DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH. The Company will not stand behind it and the repair facility they require you to use will charge you for warranty repairs - and then do them poorly.I got a cheap $42 Timex waiting on this watch to get back. It runs like a Rolex!UPDATE 12/14/2020 - In a last ditch effort, I emailed Momentum in October and shared my story. October 16 Chris VanNyhuis got back with me and authorized a return for repair to another location in Washington State. Momentum paid shipping as well! I sent it in October 19. On November 30, I did had not gotten my watch back so I emailed Chris again. Chris got back with me that same day. Momentum had repaired my watch and sent it to Maryville TN, a town I have never lived in. I informed Chris of this. He apologized and had a new watch of the same type sent to me. I received the new watch last week. So far, this one works well. Thanks Chris and Momentum!I'm changing my review to 3 stars.Update 1/10/2022 - The replacement watch works perfectly and I have had zero problems with it. Sapphire crystal is very sturdy and I have no scratches, so it is well worth the upcharge to me. The watch band is starting to wear out and I will try to get another Momentum band because this one is so nice.Changing review to 4 stars.

I really like this watch
I really like this watch. Easy to read and so light I hardly notice I'm wearing it. I intended to replace the watchband right away, but was quite surprised how comfortable it was. And not bad looking for a rubber watchband. I noticed it wasn't telling time accurately and Momentum replaced it right away. The only downside is hands are not as luminous as I'd like, certainly not as bright as my Victorinox watch. Not too big, just the right size for me.

Great light weight watch
Great watch and very light weight. It's not to big and for working out it doesn't beat up your wrist. Good looking

Quality/Value
I've had a couple of Momentum watches, this one replaces a beat-up titanium model that just quit. It looks great clean simple, well made, band looks like leather but very flexible natural rubber. I have a small wrist so the 38mm size is perfect. Repair is a issue with this company since they are in Vancouver, BC and I'm in Ohio. They are small, and I have actually spoke to the tech on the phone. Usually get 2-yrs out of battery, so that's the problem, send back to them and it's about $60 or pay local about the same price without delay. Almost half the price for a brand new watch. I've done the DIY route but can't guarantee it will be waterproof.

Well made, very light
This is a very well constructed affordable watch. Light and easy to read. The only negative is the size. It is on the small side for a modern mens watch. I am not a fan of those stupid cartoon sized mega watches that some posers wear, but my wrist dwarfs this thing a little bit. If you are looking for a bigger faced watch, this isn't for you.But if you want something simple, light and tough this could be what you are looking for.

Great everyday watch.
Titanium, 38mm field watch, with sapphire crystal and blue AR coating. Good quality quartz movement with +-1 second loss per month (also, seconds hand hits every marker spot-on). You cannot find something like that in this price range. On the downside it has weak luminosity.

Exacly what I was looking for
Owning a Rolex and an IWC - the latter - beeing my every day's watch but now in repair for quite a while - I was looking for a simple but functional replacement, waterproof and lightweight, good looking at last but not least.-I think I found it - in Canada! (As if Europe wouldn't be full of watch manufacturers).Everything is fine I like it!Only one little thing is bothering me: The penetrant vanilla - smell of the rubber - wristband...

flexible and very comfortable and it’s impregnated with a vanilla scent that smells ...
I’m wondering if this is shop soiled stock, maybe it’s been in the window display too long and the light has permanently affected the colour of the dial, I don’t know. I just know that it’s a long way from the pristine white you’ll see on Amazon’s (and everybody else’s) image of this watch. It’s more of an off-white tan colour. There are some strange complaints in other reviews and I’ll address those here. The strap is perfectly sized, soft, flexible and very comfortable and it’s impregnated with a vanilla scent that smells nice! The date window is easily readable. The case is titanium so the whole watch is really light. The movement is a very reliable Citizen/Miyota Quartz and a new battery will be good for 5 years. The hands and numbers are pristine, large and legible and the lume is bright enough to ensure that the watch can be read at a glance at all times. That being said, this isn’t a dive watch (although it’s completely waterproof), so the lume will be good to the dark-adapted eye for a couple of hours only.Overall it’s a great litttle time-piece, with a good pedigree, that won’t let you down. Just don’t expect a white dial!
