This is quite amazing from a technical standpoint but a problem for me was the chess pieces are very small and light and very close together and being elderly with hands that aren't steady. I kept scattering the pieces and had to return it to Amazon

Ideal for single player
It took me a few days to master use but persevering with instructions won out. I now play regularly. Pieces are light so get knocked over but if careful it’s fine and board tells you where they should be. It’s not that easy to beat but I’m not a great player and managing at easier levels.

Doesn't work and flimsy
Doesn't work. Pressing on A2 lights A1 do unusable. Also very cheap construction. I couldn't get drawers open at first because so cheap and flimsy.

Not what they used to be
Having previously purchased a Lexibook chess board we expected high quality that lasts. This one is of inferior quality and disappointingly does not have the same sound effect features as before. Does the job but not as good as before.

This was actually very good
The play pieces are quite small and light-weight and so care is required but they are big enough for comfortable playing. The ability to 'swap sides' when playing against the computer is a helpful feature, this accompanied by the The Usborne Chess Book Activity Book, was a good package for my Granddaughter as she is quite content to teach herself when I'm not around.

Tolles Schachspiel für Anfänger, sehr genau und schimpft auch bei falschen Zug für Anfänger
Wir haben das bestellt und es war gegen den Computer eingestellt. Wir waren total verwirrt, da in der Anleitung gegen eine andere Person (nicht Computer) die Null Einstellung dabei stand. Eine Null gibt es nicht im Feld. Einfach dann den Buchstaben vom Spiel und die Zahl in dem jeweiligen Feld wählen. Wir waren total irritiert. Jetzt hat uns Lexibook auf unsere Anfrage bei Amazon geantwortet und das hat jetzt funktioniert. VIELEN DANK für den guten Service. Das Spielfeld ist wertig, nur die Aufsätze zum Spiel aus Kunststoff sind sehr leicht und können auch mal umfallen.
