Topeak Joe Blow Twin Turbo High Pressure Bicycle Floor Pump

This is the bona fide corvette of manual floor pumps. Air chambers are massive, no efforts are wasted, and the gauge itself is about as accurate as it gets for a floor pump. Pumping air into tubeless tires or those requiring a higher sustained PSI throughput in order to lock in air or a fluid seal is made nearly effortless with the delivery system in this pump and the way the larger air chambers redistribute your efforts pulling up and pushing down. The pump itself is made from extremely quality / durable metal and materials, and is exactly what you would expect at a price tag this high. As long as you take good care of it, it should last you a lifetime. Highly recommend, especially for tubeless tires. Others have mentioned you can even inflate your car tires with this thing, and although I haven't tested that yet myself I can totally picture the pump being able to handle so with ease.

I have come to think of Topeak products in the same way as I do BMW cars and motorcycles. They work great, until they don't. I used this pump moderately for over two years before it began to squeak annoyingly. Finding no helpful nfo anywhere, I called the US company representing them. They described to me how to disassemble and lubricate the pump, and acknowledged that no such information was published. First, I thought that all modern pumps were maintenance free. Secondly, this is not a task I want to repeat. The two threaded plugs require some special tool to engage them effectively. When the squeak returns, the pump will be tossed. So long, Topeak. You have enough of my money in return for half-baked products.

Great pump, especially for MTB and larger volume tires. Also good for road bikes and easily achieves the higher pressures commonly used with 700x25 road bike tires. Gauge sits high and is easy to read. Maybe best of all, the valve connector on this pump works easily and consistently on presta valves. A bit heavy and bulky, but hey, this is a floor pump.

Best air pump I have ever used. I use them for tubulars that I pump to 160 PSI—no problem. I’ve been cycling for +50 years and this is truly a great, substantial and easy to use pump.
