Impressed by the old formula
This product has been used for sealing/staining our deck for years and the old formula with the 3 different oils goes on nicely, seals the wood from water, and applies just the right amount of wood color. The new formula doesn’t match the previous version, so make sure you get enough for the job the first time.

Shipping issue
Product is fine but it was packed in a used cosmetic cardboard box wit a small piece of brown paper not even wrapped around can which resulted in can seriously bented on top and bottom. Very suprised it did not leak. Very careless, unprofessional and dangerous way to ship this stuff!

Deck is restored!!!!!!
I have been trying for years to restore our 20 year old pressure treated lumber deck. I did a thorough power wash first then applied this product. It gets right into the grooves and hides everything. This color is actually Jarrah Brown. It is a bit dark but I ended up really liking it. This particular product was only a quart. I did buy a five gallon at a local hardware store to complete the job. A little pricey but totally worth it after spending so much time power washing and sanding.

Best stain on the market
I won't use anything but Cabot stains. A little bit goes a long way. It looks beautiful and doesn't chip or peel. I had used another stain in the past and had to resand the entire deck. I;ve been using Cabot for over five years and just do a touch up yearly - only takes an hour.

nice honey oak color
I tried 3 products and only this one changed my clean colorless teak into a beautiful honey color. I'm going to cover it with a clear protector because CA is hard on teak.

How much you get!
Check size before you click buy! I wanted 1 quart didn't read it cause I just had a quart sent. My bad ! But good overall.

Product is Good. Shipping is a disaster.
This review is for the Amazon shipping, not the product. I ordered this once, and it came with one little piece of bubble wrap in the box. As such, the container was dented, and leaking. A toxic oil - shipped totally unprotected. Ridiculous. So I tried to let Amazon/Shipping know this. Instead, they just sent another one (happy to have more ok), and it was shipped exactly the same. This one came totally dented, but at least not open. This is just dangerous, and really lame. If you are going to sell and ship paints and other like items, you have to wrap them and take precautions so they don't leak. It seems basic. There was no one to even tell this to apparently.

Protection to wood is Great , deck, fence, anything wood that stays outside
Theses chairs are about 20 years old and still look good , I sanded the wood and applied Australian timber oil. Rain just beads off and sun doesn’t fade.
