Fit Grips - Comfort (Jet Black)

Good grips for the money. Definitely read the instructions and stretch these before you try to put them on the handrails. I've had mine on for about a month now and elected not to glue them on because I will be putting them on to my definitive chair when I receive it. I have 24 inch wheels on this chair and after a month the rubber has stretched out. The grip rotates on the push rail and makes me adjust it constantly as I'm propelling. I have used the glue that was provided and put spots here in there and it has held them in place quite well. I will definitely use a full spread glue on my definitive chair that will have 26 inch wheels. I give this a four star rating only because I wish th rubber would be longer and cover more of the pushrail. I emailed the company and they were wonderful about getting back to me and having a conversation with me. I do understand their philosophy of breaking and leaving some of the pushrail exposed for breaking. I live in Wisconsin and those 10 below days were brutal going to get the mailbox. Lol

The fit grips feel great and make the rims easier to hold onto but they will not stay on. We have glued and glued and have finally resorted to duct tape to keep them from slipping. They also make the chair a fraction wider. People in chairs know that is just enough to keep you from somewhere you want to go. They have saved a lot of marks on the doors. Take the time to clean and prepare the rims before installing them because they have to be glued well.

Sent back! Could not get them to fit over my mother’s wheels on her small wheelchair, despite the fact that the wheels were within the size limits specified on the product.

These supply much more grip than the cheap covering that came with my push rims. I did however need to add the glue after just a couple of days. I don't know about the durability yet since I have only had them for a few weeks.

Awful. Purchased to cover wheel rims for trip. Delta has knicked rims each time we have flown. Ordered these to keep from having to deal with sharp knicked metal. We even ziptied them to the rims. 1st leg of travel, and they bring the chair to us. One cover is gone, the other is not attached evenly and the wheel rims are knickedNot good at all

Need a strong person to install - or a strong person with cable ties ...

They were almost impossible to put on the hand wheel. My son had to come over to get them on. In the process of stretching them, one started to tear on the edge, so I doubt they will last very long. It's not the product we were looking for. Bad purchase. Should have been returned. Would not recommend them to anyone....

Hard to install especially for a older person and also was kind of disappointed that they gouged and developed nicks/cuts so easily when accidentally hitting door frames etc in the wheelchair, returned after 3 weeks for refund.
